Heck, they're socialists, why don't they just make it mandatory for the people to empty their savings accounts and spend the money?

Yes! And I shall celebrate their slight bout of misfortune by sharing a fine bottle of Australian wine with my sweet bride this evening. Ef the French.

Anything that hurts Adecco (Swiss) can't be all bad. Were they neutral again in this latest Iraqi war?

Went to a nice restaurant called Baxter's last night. Ordered "Pellegrino" water with lime. Waitress brought me Perrier. I said "I ordered Pellegrino" and she said they were out but the Perrier "was just as nice." I told her no way would I drink water from France. She said "We can't give this stuff away."

This is definitly NOT France's Golden Age.

Like a spiral staircse the french economy is headed down into the basement. And I will laugh. Also I will not consciously purchase anything french again. Had to stop drinking lime perrier and crown royal but we all have to make sacrifices.

I'm surprised people actually work in France. I thought the whole country was perpetually on strike.
