Ann......Conservative Joan of Arc. Slay the beast Ann.

Finally a conservative who understands the word attack and not conpromise. Libs do not want compromise they always want a veto. Even when its in the best intrest of the country.

Libs have perfected lies, slander, stereotyping, prejudice, and bigotry to an exact science.

If that fails they use intimidation and the avarice of human greed.

And the ugliest part of their lie? That the conservatives (McCarthy and similar-minded elected officials), who were in the forefront of combatting Communism, were secretly allied with the Communists, and doing all the things the Democrats and Progressives themselves were doing.

Does anybody remember the Progressives? Members of the Roosevelt wing of the Republican party, in the 1920's they were co-opted by Robert LaFollette in Wisconsin. Lafollette was a flaming socialist, and was behind things like the "progressive" income tax, in which the higher your income, the greater the percentage tax collected. This was straight out of Karl Marx' "Communist Manifesto", as well as death taxes, nationalization of heavy industry, and central control of agricultural production.

I ordered a copy of Treason last night.

After reading your sound bite, I feel the need to buy a copy today and read Ann's book this weekend.

Nice move slipping Ann's pic in with your post.

Last night on Hannity and Colmes, Ann Coulter was challenged by Alan Colmes to name someone alive today guilty of Treason. I know what he was attempting to do - get Coulter to say something that could be used in a slander suit. However, I can name three people today guilty of treason - the three Congressmen who went to Iraq before the Iraq campaign, supported Saddam, and publicly called President Bush a liar. Even at this time, these three knew of the terrorist training ground - http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/news/special_packages/iraq/archive/5645727.htm, http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/gunning/interviews/khodada.html, and Salman Pak (http://www.dailybulletin.com/Stories/0,1413,203%257E27069%257E1305668,00.html). Also, there are currently over fifty democrat members of the Progressive Caucus of Congress, which is an arm of the Socialist International (http://www.newsmax.com/showinsidecover.shtml?a=2002/11/13/152258).

The portrayal of Sen. Joe McCarthy as a wild-eyed demagogue destroying innocent lives is sheer liberal hobgoblinism.
===================================
I can recall watching the McCarthy Army hearings on TV as a teen-ager. Savannah had only one station at the time and TV was still new enough that I watched EVERYTHING even if it wasn't particularly enjoyable. Not yet politicized and having what Rush refers to as "a head full of mush" my reactions were emotional rather than intellectual.

Joe McCarthy simply was not likable. He had an abrasive personality. Thus, he was vulnerable when the forces of evil gathered their strength and went after him. I do not recall feeling any sympathy for him when he fell.

I have served on a number of juries as an adult. In my observation, if a prosecutor (which is what Joe really was) wants to win the case, it's better to be likable than right! Joe was the wrong man with the right message.

Ann's SLANDER was bad enough for the Liberals.

After TREASON, look for them to pull out all the stops to personally destroy Ann. All of the stops. This will include her family. Her book simply cannot be allowed to stand!

Before they're done with her and everybody she loves, Ann may well be blubbering for mercy from these bastards. It's either that or an "unfortunate" traffic accident which leaves her dead or crippled or perhaps a break-in or mugging which leaves her permanently damaged. Mark my words. She has passed the point of being a pundit and has become a genuine threat to these people.

She's a very brave woman. But, TPTB will make her pay for outing them. It won't be long, I fear.
