2nd Edition of Volume I of FReeper Jeff Head's Dragon's Fury Series Released
The Dragon's Fury Series Web Site ^ | June 24, 2003 | Jeff Head

Posted on 06/24/2003 8:26:26 AM PDT by Jeff Head

A 2nd Edition of Volume I of the Dragon's Fury Series of Novels about World War III has been released. It has been updated for Operation Iraqi Freedom to include characterization and plotting changes that reflect the historical record as it has evolved since the initial release of Volume I in November of 2001.

The changes were written so as to allow Volume I to more accurately reflect current conditions without any impact to any of the other volumes of the book. As a result, all of the other volumes (including the last two that are not complete yet), set further in the future, will not require new editions.

Volume III, "High Tide" of the series was released this Spring and is available in printed and ebook form on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other on line sites.

Volume IV, "The Long March", of the series is currently being written and will be available in late November to earl December of this year, in time for Christmas

All of the Volumes and their descriptions can be accessed through the Series Main Web Site at www.dragonsfuryseries.com.

FYI, for those following progress on my series.

In my browser the graphics in this post are not displaying now and I don't know why. I apologize, they came up fine in the preview.

Thanks...apparently they are having to load into your local cache memory before displaying again here on FR. I am not sure why FR is not seeing them the first time.

Oh well, no big deal.

Thanks so much for the BUMP and the info.

BTW, we have legislation orignating here in Idaho being supported by our U.S. Senators, looking to Privatise the works of one of our irrigation disricts according to the original conditions that created it. If it passes and comes about, it may be a great prcedent for Klamath and other places.

GREAT! I know that Amazon is now shipping the 2nd Edition of Volume I as is Barnes & Noble, etc.

I am glad you are enjoying it. If you like Volume I, the others will just keep getting better and better.

Please pass the word...word of mouth is my best friend on this project.

Best Fregards.

Another volley bump (sorry, no great graphics).

Speaking of graphics, they're coming up normally now. Methinks it was just an Internet hiccup.

Nothing to be sorry for, no grpahics required...thanks so much for the BUMP.

My browser is still not showing the book covers, so I don't know what the deal is. But, it's no biggy, the links work and the words are there.

I'm working on Chapter Two of Volume IV and should have an excerpt up on it (and posted here on FR) in the next little while.

Best regards!

What browser are you using? I'm finding something odd in the source with the images that you put up that's fouling things in Mozilla/Netscape 6/Netscape 7, but not in either IE6 or Netscape 4.8. Instead of reading (for example) <img src="http://www.freewebs.com/jeffhead/dragonsfury/book01cover.jpg" width="200">, it's reading <img src="http://www.freewebs.com/jeffhead/dragonsfury/book01cover.jpg" width="200"">.

Let's see if you can see this with the corrected HTML...

Check that, it's <img src="http://www.freewebs.com/jeffhead/dragonsfury/book01cover.jpg" width="200&quot;">. I should've proof-read :-)

Thanks for the BUMP. That's a heck of a BTTT graphic.

Actually, I can't take credit for the graphic
I "liberated" from another FReeper some months ago.
(That is to say, I stole it.
&
I don't even remember who I stole it from. LOL)

Keep up the good work, Jeff

Oh, with the internet being as it is, without some kind of copyright, all you are doing with that graphic IMHO is spreading the good word. Without a signature, copyright or other way of id'ing it, there's no telling where it originally came from.

Either way, it's a nice BTTT graphic.

Best regards.
