A few posts back there was huge thread where a lot of Freepers were excoriating President Bush for issuing a statement endorsing "diversity". And now we have Barbara Lee accusing him of pursuing "white supremacist" policies. In reality, President Bush is leading a divided nation at a time when it is facing great danger from Islamic fundamentalism and resurgent European statism.
We've got to do our bit to change the reality on the ground -- both in overseas battlefields, and equally importantly -- in our own backyards. Al Qaeda can't defeat America, but Americans can. All we need is to give the terrorists another 8 years of clear water to sail their ship in and there's no telling what will happen.

California Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) accuses the Bush administration of pursuing "white supremacist" policies in America. "This administration and allies in Congress are rolling back advances in racial equality, economic opportunity and gender equity," Lee said in a speech at the Rainbow/PUSH organization's 32nd annual convention on Monday. Same old, tired rhetoric...Nothing to see here, folks. Move along....

At leat she didn't blame it on the Jews, like several unnamed Democratic presidential candidates have done.
Blame what on the Jews? Whatever's convenient, Al....

You beat me to it, some old tired pandering and peddling of fear. Yeah that what America needs a bunch of 60 and 70 year old black men and women, who have never held a real job trying to scare folks into the polls.

Majority whites founded this country. Whites are still in the majority. These are the facts. Whites do not need to apologize for being civilized and educated. If colored folk are jealous, they just have to earn an education and act civilized.

In reality, President Bush is leading a divided nation at a time when it is facing great danger from Islamic fundamentalism and resurgent European statism. Indeed. And I would think with Mr. Powell and Ms. Rice he is setting an example that Senator Boxer would recognize. I agree that we have to do all we can to unite the nation. It's hard to be patient sometimes. Thanks for the reminder.

Wow. Ms. Lee is clearly 'The Pig'.
I am suprised only in that the hate mongering, lick-spittle, running-dog lackey for her National Socialist masters would be so blunt for publication.

Another Democrat ploy . The Democrats are racist and those blacks in their ranks are stupid or power hungery.
It doesnt matter what Bush does he will never get 25% of the black vote and he would be wise to cater to the Hispanic and White vote but give him credit he still tries.
The most telling part about the black leadership in the Democrat Party is the way they try to Demonize Colin Powell and Condoleeze Rice. They show their true color and it ant black, it is green for money and envy.
Black leaders in the Democrat Party dont want real affirmitive action they want their people to toe the mark and follow in lockstep while they keep their power and control and hold their own race down. You can bet this is racial but it is really all about politics power and deception!
Zeig Heil Barbara gal!

In realty, you cannot be a top-flight university without diversity," she added.Golly! How did we EVER get along, with NO 'top-flight universitys' BEFORE those WONDERFUL 'diverse' policies were in place.
I guess we turned out nothing but dunderheads and fools........

Barbara Lee does not believe what she is saying.
They realize Bush can be "rolled" and will make these charges in order to facilitate it. Try to move the debate far to the left in order to make Bush move left. He already is mildly liberal and fears being painted as right wing, or at least that is what it appears to me.

"Shame on California, that is all I can say, shame on California," she added. I agree. These idiots out there keep electing these clowns and then they sit around and wonder why that state is going down the toilet.

the administration has essentially adopted the same racially segregationist platform that Thurmond advanced in 1948.
Wow.. I guess these days you can just pull stuff directly from your ass without needing to wash it with supporting evidence.
Has credibility become meaningless?

With another 8 years of a do-nothing/look-the-other-way Dimocrat administration terrorists would aquire nukes, and literally destroy the United States!

You're right there. Bush's performance in the Michigan cases was very weak, sending Olson out there with watered down briefs and oral arguments, that implicitly endorsed "diversity" as a goal. His celebrating yesterday's kneecapping of the constitution was plain nauseating.
