Clint Eastwood's a great director, but why would he cast Tim Robbins in a movie?

He's the most bland actor in the world. Half the time, he sounds like he's reading his lines.

This was actually a great book... but great books almost never make good movies, IMHO.

This was actually a great book... but great books almost never make good movies, IMHO.

Almost is correct, but several good books that were made into good movies are: "The Stand" and "The Green Mile", "The Shining" (starring Jack Nicholson),all Stephen King novels.

Actually, when you really think about, almost all of Stephen Kings novels that were made into movies - the movies turned out good

I agree. Everytime I ready a Stephen King novel and picture it as a movie.
