There is a cancer in the American body politic, which has been allowed to metastasize. It is nurtured by at least 53 members of the 'Progressive Caucus' in congress and has its roots, ideology, and objectives grounded in socialism.
This is not the paranoid rambling of a right wing radical wacko. This is a FACT.

Sheez, after the last few weeks, it looks like it's a majority of both houses, in their rush to give tax credits to people who don't pay taxes and to give a prescription drug giveaway to the wealthiest segment of the population.

Socialism covers the ideology of most members of Congress of both parties. Communists better describes the Progressive Caucus.

The so-called Congressional Progressive Caucus has direct ties to the so-called Democratic Socialist Party USA, the main Socialist party. Why isn't this EVER discussed in the mainstream press? (That was a rhetorical question.) FReepers need to keep pointing this out, however. Eventually it sinks in. When a member of the CPC makes the news with some new totalitarian program or boneheaded statement, point out his/her membership in the CPC when posting, writing letters to the editor, in conversation, when calling into talk shows, etc. These parasites hate having light shined upon them--that's why they downplay their membership in this crypto-commie organization. The way to diminish their influence is to highlight and ridicule their connection to the Democratic Socialist party.

Sorry. Sometimes I may instigate without being aware I am doing so. I am aware, however, that I sometimes lack a certain..class?
If I get out of line, let me know. What I dish out, I can take.

This table is causing some weird positioning in my browser. Lets try to correct this. </P>

This has totally screwed up "my comments". Nothing shows but this message, and the titles of a few others.
All the text of every other message is gone.

Remove NYer's message; we can go to the link if we want to send an e-mail.
This formatting is creating havoc.
Sorry, NYer.

Unfortunately, that will not remove it from your "My Comments" page. At least that's been my experience in the past.

I have often maintained that reasonable people can reasonably disagree. This is the correct attitude for persuasion.
However, as evidenced and documented in the work of Tammy Bruce, David Horowitz, Ann Coulter and others, when dealing with the elitist liberal left, that claim assumes facts not in evidence.
Try to keep in mind that these folks have books to sell. To the extent that they're trying to influence thought, their books are designed to inspire folks who already agree with them. Their books aren't designed to persuade those who disagree with them.
