[history]
The chaotic scene was a precursor to an even larger rally and march beginning at 10 a.m. today at the state Capitol. Organizers have taken out a march permit for 8,000 people. Their target: an international agriculture conference, hosted by the U.S. government, that starts today at the Sacramento Convention Center.

What a mess.

One booth promoting a vegetarian diet quickly sold out of T-shirts reading "If it has a face, don't eat it." Does a chicken have a face?

I don't know, but I'm guessing a head of lettuce is out of the question.

"Hundreds of us are gathered here to say 'No' to the corporate takeover of the food system," said Leda Dederich, an organizer of the protest, which she said drew more than 130 groups. Nobody's forcing her to eat "corporate food". She could always buy some land and grow her own. Of course that would entail actual work. It's much more fun to organize protests.

If soap had a face, we would know why so many of these guys are strangers to it.

Welcome to FreeRepublic.
The name bicycle thug will likely raise a few eyebrows. Are you with these "activists" or against them?

Q: How do you hide money from a hippy?
A: Put it under the soap!

I've caught these ''anarchist'' acts before, when they start up they need to be shot on sight.
They dress like Ninjas, carry steel ball bearings and slingshots, I saw them fire into crowds of people and at police and horses in Cincinnati.

From the pathetic piece:
"The first arrest came at 4:30 p.m., when a woman stepped into the street, blocking a CHP motorcycle officer. When he asked her to move, she refused, forcing him to lay down his cycle. The woman, 19-year-old Marissa Lopez of Rio Linda, then spit at two officers, according to police."
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Oh boy...another wonderful example of pathetic reporting..
Let me get this right. This idiot from "Rio Linda" I know, I know...that's redundant..!! Ha!! But anyway...this idiot steps into the street...and the CHP MC officer...has enough time to tell her to get out of the way....she doesn't and he has to "lay his bike down"!!!
This doesn't make sense......Sounds like more Bee baloney...from the Bee.

Biker thug was taken, so my wife reminded me I was a boy with asperations for a Harley when I was a kid on a Schwinn Sting Ray bike, so there you have it.

I mean, after all, don't they have eyes?

My apologies for jumping the gun in #7. Seeing the headline "massive protest" and and the name "bicycle thug," I formed a false mental picture of a "Critical Mass" nuisance.
