It amazes me how bold illegal immigrants are now getting here in southern California.

Do these drivel-sh*t idiots understand that they are being slow boiled in a pot filled with foreign customs that will take their liberties from from them as soon as the foreign majority takes power?
That ought to be a in few days from right now. Adios America, buenos dias, third world.

{We need the opportunity to drive legally," said Rolando Campos, of Solana Beach. "We all need to be able to drive."}
I thought most CA cities accept the Mexican ID cards as valid forms of ID for a variety of social services such as welfare, opening bank accounts, and driving. If Mexican ID cards are valid ID forms, then why the urgent rush for CA driver licenses?

"This would be a benefit to everyone, because it would mean safer roads," said Gustavo Munguia, who organized the march. How? They already are driving without licenses, so how does giving them licenses make the roads safer?

It's kind of funny - over at the
Free State Project web discussion board, we're talking about how we'd go about repealing drivers licensing and license plates, and firing everyone at DMV.

"We need the opportunity to drive legally"Really? You mean someone who broke into our country illegally cares about driving legally?

It amazes me how bold illegal immigrants are now getting here in southern California.Well, you give them free housing, food, health care, etc. and they start believing that they really are somebody to be reckoned with.

"This would be a benefit to everyone, because it would mean safer roads," said Gustavo Munguia, who organized the march. Rounding up the illegal invaders and deporting them would be a better way for making safer roads, less crime and reduce the drain on our economy.
I'll refrain from getting started on the impact on litter and noise pollution...

The largely Latino and undocumented crowd were chanting loudly and carrying signs in support of a bill making its way through the state Legislature that would grant illegal immigrants the ability to apply for California-issued driver's licenses and identification cards.
"This would be a benefit to everyone, because it would mean safer roads," said Gustavo Munguia, who organized the march.
Of course, because everyone knows that once you get your license, you automatically drive safely.

If that passes, I hope they check for proof of insurance. When they don't have California insurance, they should get their cars confiscated.

In 2001, Cedillo withdrew an earlier version of the bill after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the East Coast. When he brought the bill back, it included several security provisions such as required finger printing and criminal background checks for immigrants applying for the licenses. Oh, yeah...criminal background checks for people who admit that they are illegal immigrants.
I can't believe I just read that sentence. I feel like Alice in Wonderland.
BTFW, to the best of my remembrance, all of the 9/11 hijihadjackers kept their noses clean until the day they slaughtered three thousand -- except certain ones' violation of IMMIGRATION LAW!

I'm old enough to remember how flabbergasted my father and I were in the 60's when Welfare Mothers marched on Lansing (Michigan) to demand the State end requiring unwed mothers to reveal the names of the fathers. They won. Working taxpayers lost. It's been a downhill spiral since.
I predict the undocumented aliens will win on this issue, and once again California will fertilize the roots of its own destruction and through shear numbers pull the rest of the country down with it.
Regards, Lenny

Many in the group were carrying signs stating: "Without a license, we are a risk to other drivers." What a Joke. As if Illegal Aliens care about the risk they pose to other drivers. They drive anyway and their usual response after an accident is to flee. All this whining bunch cares about is robbing America blind.
