The Kuwaiti Newspaper Al-Watan published a communique today allegedly authored by Al Qaeda's Chief of Training Abu Muhhmmad Al-Ablaj, which refers to an impending attack by the orginzation.
The communique said that Al Qaeda is about to deliver a 'fatal blow' to the 'head of the international media serpent that serves the Americans whims and interests.'
He adds that the upcoming phases against the United States will 'cut off the wings of the American Eagle, slice its arteries, and finally buther it the Islamic way.'
Al Ablaj also claimed that Al Qaeda has an independent brigade in Iraq.
Al Watan also reported that the communique will also appear in the London-based Saudi weekly Al-Majalla.

Blech....
Notice that they are fighting on their own ground? President Bush brought the fight back to them on our terms.
So. Are they going to nail AlJazeera or the BBC? Their perceptions of things are so screwed up they probably will.

"Al Qaeda is about to deliver a 'fatal blow' to the 'head of the international media serpent that serves the Americans whims and interests.' You know, OBL could be talking about himself since he is a pretty big source of news whenever he peeps.

Looks like al-Ablaj has come out of the sewer hiding to issue yet another rant.

The communique said that Al Qaeda is about to deliver a 'fatal blow' to the 'head of the international media serpent that serves the Americans whims and interests.' Exactly who would be the "head of the international media serpent?"

" buther it the Islamic way."

Never underestimate AQ.....
'head of the international media serpent
This statement would give me sleepless nights if I was the director of security for CNN and the BBC and Fox......this sounds like a specific threat against the heads of their networks...

Is there an Eagle type statue in 30 Rock? Or could the missing American Airlines 727 in Angola be the 'eagle' they are referring to..
