Now it's MSNBC's turn to get some Democratic scolding. We hear that Senate Democrats have called MSNBC execs to whine that, like Fox News Channel before it, the NBC spinoff is turning right and ignoring the nation's minority party. Which conservative hosts do they dislike the most? Michael Savage and former Rep. Joe Scarborough.

Awwww, what a shame. I know, why don't they get Al Gore to start a network?

What is the Democrats' problem? The GOP never scolded CNN, ABC, CBS, or NBC for being liberal. Is equal time too much to ask for? Apparently it is, if you listen to some people.

At the local tavern I sometimes frequent, I am at times forced to ingest......ABC News with Peter Jennings........nuff said? Apparently the liberals version of equality is if they can dominate EVERY network.

I've been watching more MSNBC lately - I can stomach that better then CNN (to which I was once addicted), and FNC has lost my interest with the unnamed story which they obsess over.

I still love FNC - David Asman, Shep Smith, Brit Hume - I just have to change it everytime that story rears its head. And that's often.

Yeah, we see who really believes in free speech and who doesn't. Dems only believed in free speech when they had a monopoly on the media. They tried the Fairness Doctrine against Rush, I wonder what their next anti-free speech move will be.

Its not these people they dislike totally its the TRUTH they dislike they are scared shatless when the truth comes out and we get closer to more truths everyday that makes them squirm Savage is one who dont pull any punches if he has an agenda it would be to uncover untruths no matter what side your on even his!

At this point in time who are we supposed to trust in government? republicans ? democrats ? independants ? conservatives ? which party dont have its hand in the pockets of special interests be it homos, greenies, corporations, or the U.N. ? or some other special interest groups we dont even know about ?

I myself am to the point of not trusting anyone even a good President like Bush <----[imho] for some reason it feels like hes selling us out and i cant put my finger on it but the truth will come out in the end i just hope there arent to many sheeple led to some wicked end before they realize none can be trusted!

The GOP never scolded CNN, ABC, CBS, or NBC for being liberal

The ultimate insult to conservatives is that ABC, CBS and NBC are squatting on publicly owned airwaves, for which, as I understand it, they pay nothing.

Since 1994, the wireless phone industry has paid taxpayers roughly $36 billion at auction for the privilege of using public spectrum. By contrast, the broadcast television industry not only pays nothing for a far larger allocation, it also successfully lobbied Congress for a free, temporary doubling of its allocation of spectrum under the 1996 Telecommunications Act.

From The Five Percent Solution A SPECTRUM FEE TO REPLACE THE ‘PUBLIC INTEREST OBLIGATIONS’ OF BROADCASTERS, by Henry Geller and Tim Watts, May 2002
At least Fox and MSNBC are paying for their place on the cable or satellite band, which gives them the right to say just about anything they want.

A different point about "Schadenfreude" - why was Mario Cuomo made sport of when he used/spoke the word without the "duh" on the end? Isn't he the erudite sophisticated spokesperson of the left? Maybe in The Bronx, they don't use foreign pronunciations. Can he spell padaydah? - no that's Irish.

I agree with you concerning THAT story. I hit the remote whenever it shows up on FNC. Needless to say, I'm watching much less of FNC lately.

I was watching Brit the other day and he showed a clip from Leno - Jay was talking about the dims starting a new liberal network and Jay said he that it was excessive because they already had ABC NBC CBS CNN NPR CSPAN, etc. The audience went wild!!!

The dims still have not figured out the public sees what they're up to ... amazing!!

There's a sale at Macy's? Man, I hit Dillard's, Lane Bryant, Old Navy, Lerner's, DK, Buckle, J.C. Penney's, and everywhere else I could think of today, and I missed the sale at Macy's? Crap!

:-)
