G2mil is the only Warfare Research Portal on the Internet. If you are interested in military technology, weapons, tactics, future warfare, and military news, this website has hundreds of pages of unique content and links to hundreds of military related sites. This is not a government or corporate website, but an independent website run by former military officers.
Our editor is Carlton Meyer, a former Marine Corps officer who has participated in military operations around the world. He had written dozens of articles for military magazines, but became frustrated that important issues are ignored by editors fearful of upsetting their corporate advertisers or government sponsors. There are no limits at G2mil, so click the brown MAGAZINE box above to read the current issue.
What someone doesn't want you to publish is journalism, all else is publicity.

The US Navy should close its luxury headquarters in London, where 1000 sailors do nothing. As someone not familiar with the situation, is "do nothing" literal fact or rhetorical?

Drilling down into your site I found this...
" All professional journals prefer articles which reinforce the established viewpoint of that organization. Although editors consider themselves independent and like to read controversial ideas themselves, they adhere to the company line. They may accept a controversial article, but never publish it. "

Moreover, Marines in Hawaii can embark amphibs quicker at Pearl Harbor than waiting for amphibs from Sasebo to sail down to Okinawa...Depends on where you're going after you pick them up. Maybe they can load right away in Hawaii, but then it's 10 days from there to Westpac. And we're not talking any big delay for transit from Sasebo to Okinawa. Leave in the morning, you're there in the afternoon the next day.
If the idea is just to move them to U.S. soil, then Guam is probably a better idea.
