[history]
Perry, Ia. - U.S. Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina said Friday night that billboards that will soon sprout up near the Des Moines airport attacking his record are evidence that he is doing better in the Democratic race for president than some portray.

"We have to show this president as the absolute phony that he is," Edwards said.
The sheer utter brass of these words, coming from an ambulance chasing trial lawyer whose sole public service is 4 years in a Senate seat that he bought with money bled from his clients, and hospitals and donations from his fellow scum who profited from tobacco and asbestos settlements, is mind boggling.

Keep it up, Edwards. The more you squeal, the more you screw yourself and your party. I was at a Super-Target today and I saw Dixie Chicks CDs in the $8.99 bargain bin, so it's obvious that people just aren't buying the crap that the degenerate liberals are dishing out.

Some national polls suggest Edwards is not a leader in the pack of nine Democratic presidential candidates. Gee, I wonder why that would be. He sure seems like a bright guy to me. < /sarcasm >

Gee, I wonder why that would be. He sure seems like a bright guy to me. < /sarcasm > He seems to have the some of the Clintoon charisma, without the policy wonk crap.
Translation: A charming empty suit

Empty suits should stick to running for provincial offices, where media scrutiny might not be so harsh. Edwards is headed to a very ugly crash and burn. His message, his mantra, is that he was poor once, and as a trial lawyer, got rich, while helping out poor litigants a bit in personal injury lawsuits, and thus the working folks should vote for him. That political line is so retro. It doesn't even sell very well in North Carolina. Where I live, it is quite hilarious.

....he will soon be retired.....he won't even win his Senate seat back in '04......North Carolinians are tired of him not representing them.... Congressman Richard Burr is going to finish him off in the election....

Edwards criticizes Bush's views, tactics Meanwhile, the President asks an aide, "Hey, just who is this Jim Edwards guy, anyway?" and recieves the all-too-truthful reply, "No one you need to worry about, sir."

I know these Clymers don't have a moral fiber in their body. But we have to be very careful in the next 16 months! Remember 90& of the media 99.9 % of academia are still leftist shills. The same SUV-driving soccer moms that were swooned by Klintoon can be reeled in by the emotional demagogues. Conservatives and organizations like FreeRepublic have to be ready for war to get Dubya reelected. Remember - goodness and truth don't always win out when your dealing with the party of Carville and Begala!
