"I Love Hillary -- I don't care about the truth," a woman shouted from the open window of a minivan on New York Avenue in Huntington, Long Island, New York on Friday night.
Former first lady Hillary Clinton had a pretty good turn out for her book signing -- Book Revue of Huntington, Long Island was packed to capacity on Friday.
However, protestors were not too fond of the fact that Hillary was in town to support her book.
Talk Radio legend Bob Grant of WOR710 in New York interviewed Carl Limbacher and I as protestors shouted "Buy the next book, who's watching Bill, buy the next book, who's watching Bill."
Protestor Lisa Stripp was in complete disgust about the arrival of Hillary. When asked how she felt about Hillary running for President she was quick to say "Bring her on." She went on to comment that "very few times do you know where she is."
Raul Deming another protestor said, "I would like to see her President of Cuba."
Aside from the protesters, there were many Hillary supporters. While walking the line I overheard a customer say that she sold 850 copies and would only sign 1200 books.
One woman walking to the back of the line compared Hilary Clinton to Martha Washington as a historical figure.
She went on to say that she would like to see Hillary elected President and she should have an affair -- with her Secretary of State!
Are these the people we want running the country?

I sure can't argue with than kind of logic.
DC Chapter ping!
Well that pretty much sums it all up.
Lisa, what on earth are you doing here. Your a quiet little lady that normally just lurks in the corners. I'm amazed.
Another tragic case of DUI-KA.

So, what do you have against Cuba? I know, it doesn't look like it, but I'm half Cuban. You put this bitch up for President of Cuba and she could win.
Now, it ain't funny.
PS: Speaking of the next book, last night, Jay Leno was speculating that it'll be a cookbook by Bill. Some of his working titles are: How to Handle your Butterball...with a few Turkey Recipies, If It's Hot, Blow On It, The Fat is The Best Part (pic of Monica on cover), something about "doing it" like Sarah Lee, (I was laughing too hard to remember to write down the rest). <--- future sign ideas.

The staff at the Book Revue bookstore in Huntington made it abundantly clear: There would be no personal autograph messages, no posing for photos, nothing that might delay the book signing for even a second or two.
"It's going to be like an assembly line," a staffer told one woman, rejecting her request to have the author use the woman's pen. The haste left little time for a warm encounter with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton as she signed copies of her new book, "Living History," Friday evening.

"She even commented on my hat," she said. "She said to me, 'I love your hat,' which I thought was so sweet. She's a lovely lady."
But no Clinton event would seemingly be complete without the the anti-Hillary crowd. About a half-dozen protesters from the Internet site stophillary.net held a large banner that read "V.I.P. Hillary: Vicious Insufferable Phony."

Royalty is often like that. They have more "important" business to attend with than indulging the riff-raff peasantry!

And so last week, on a pleasure trip to Washington DC, when an opportunity to rise arose I was ready to go.Last week I hopefully saved some of you from parting with a nugget of your hard-earned cash by reviewing Time magazine's excerpt of Hillary Clinton's 'autobiography', Living History. Though I still have not read the entire book, I think it's more interesting to study the phenomenon of it's subject and the promotion of both.
So it was that a trip a friend and I had planned for about a month met with the happy coincidence of a DC book signing by the 'queen of coming-clean' herself. We had been invited to express our displeasure for HRC by Kristinn Taylor, the eloquent co-leader of FreeRepublic.com's DC Chapter who've been seeing to the discomfiture of the Clintons and their cronies for years. They had 'greeted' Senator Clinton the night before at a Wal-Mart in Fairfax, VA.

Just WHO is this Huntington guy? Wait! Oh, it's a place? Forgive me, once a Clinton....

Hey, everybody knows Huntington is a woman.
