American Medical Association Endorses Human Cloning!
Even worse then that, they've embraced the "clone to kill" procedure whereby human beings are created in a laboratory, and destroyed for their stem cells.
IT'S FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE 21ST CENTURY!
We cannot allow ourselves to be fooled by AMA rhetoric. what they are supporting is the creation of life for the sole purpose of experimentation.
It's mad science, and we cannot afford to sit idly by while 260,000 doctors move to accept what is simply another form of abortion.
Grassfire is asking everyone who has a family doctor to help us put intense pressure on the AMA for their endorsement of the "clone to kill" procedure.
We need your help in two very specific ways:
* * * ACTION ITEM #1--ALERT YOUR FRIENDS * * *
In next three weeks, Grassfire will deliver 425,000 "Petition for Life" petitions on your behalf to the AMA in Washington, DC, expressing our outrage and offense, and urging them to retract their position!
However, we are about 30,000 petitions shy of our goal. But with your help we are confident that we can reach our goal in time for this important delivery.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS AND CLERGY, ASKING THEM TO JOIN WITH YOU IN THE FIGHT FOR LIFE BY: CLICKING HERE
* * * ACTION ITEM #2--CALL YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN * * *
Contact your family physician and let he/she know that you are offended over the AMA's endorsing of the "clone to kill" procedure.
Urge your doctor to oppose to ALL forms of human cloning, research or reproduction!
For the millions of Americans who believe life starts with two cells, this is an issue we simply cannot afford to let pass!
Thank you for taking action today!

P.S. While Grassfire finalizes our delivery to the AMA, we ask that you take action with us by forwarding this important message to as many of your friends and family as possible-- urging them to take action with you by clicking on the link below.

So, make sure they clone the cheap doctors first. That would be a start on bringing down the cost of medical care.

Experimentation on living prisoners would probably be of use for science. Would you support that?
If not, why do you support criminals over innocent humans?

They may be constructing the Island of Doctor Moreau, but at least, they're not approving medical use of marijuana!
Some things are still sacred.

Cool one! Not as good as "have you stopped beating your wife?" but close.

The ability of humans to justify their own actions is amazing.

Sorry, if I consider human vivisection and experimentation to be evil.
Mengele has the last laugh, eh?

Another cool one! So people who think cloning is ok are vivisectionists? Admirable. Hat's off!
The "sorry" is a gracious touch. "So sorry if I am a humane idealist and you are an evil toad."
To: rmlew
Err, may I ask your Humane Perfectness a question?
Is in vitro fertilization also vivisection? You know, the doctors remove the egg from the mother using a hypodermic, visualized using ultrasound, and put it into a Petri dish, and then add the father's sperm, and then reimplant the fertilized egg in the mother's uterus?
Is this also exactly the same as cutting living beings up for medical research without using anesthesia?
If the scientists used anesthesia, would that make it ok?

The probelm is the killing of the Zygote.
IVF creates life. Cloning experimentation and Embrionic stem cell research ends it.
Unlike some, I do not consider Zygotes, Embyos, or feti to be untermenchen.

Implanting DNA into an ovum doesn't end life, and you know it.
To: CobaltBlue
Cloning for the purpose of creating an embryo, from which stem-cells will be harvested, does kill.
Cloning itself is immoral at this point. Clones have damaged DNA, age quickly, and the vast majority fail to survive to birth. Doing this to people is evil.

Before I get too excited I would like to see the link to this statement from the AMA site, as opposed to an unsupported claim made by this advocacy group.

Please keep postings like this out of the BREAKING NEWS section... ACTIVISM would be preferable.

Proceed indicates progress. Killing Human Embryos is Retrogression.
I suppose you also condone Partial Birth Abortion (better known as penetrate, evacuate, and eliminate)
