FROM: The Honorable Howard Kaloogian Chairman, Recall Gray Davis Committee http://www.RecallGrayDavis.Com

June 19, 2003 – 3:45 PM

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Nearly 900,000 Signatures = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

I know a lot of our supporters prefer text-format emails so I wanted to write a short update in text-format to bring all of you up to speed on recent events taking place with the Recall Gray Davis effort.

First – you will be very happy to know that as we end this week we are creeping up on the 900,000-signature mark. We’ve been inundated with petitions this past week and I encourage each of you to go to our website http://www.RecallGrayDavis.com and download and collect 5 more signatures by the end of the weekend.

If you do this we will have collected enough signatures to surpass the 897,158 valid signatures we need to qualify the recall effort.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Radio Ad Campaign Continues = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Thanks to your financial support we have been able to launch a statewide radio advertising campaign supporting the recall effort.

In these radio ads we urge listeners to go to our website http://www.RecallGrayDavis.com and download and sign a petition. You will be happy to know that since our ads began airing – on over 45 radio stations throughout the state – we have seen a dramatic increase in traffic to our website.

RecallGrayDavis.com has experienced it’s busiest traffic days ever thanks to these ads! This means we should expect a huge final flood of petitions arriving into our campaign headquarters over the next few days.

If you have not heard the radio ads you can do so right now by clicking the link below:

http://www.recallgraydavis.com/ads/

And if you would like us to expand our radio ad campaign into next week then please, step forward right now, and make a contribution to our radio ad campaign fund so that we can buy an additional week on radio stations throughout the state.

So far we have only raised 30% of the money we need to stay on the air, therefore we need your generous financial support right now so we can instruct our media buyers to keep our radio ad campaign on the air.

Click the link below to make a financial contribution of $100, $50, $35, $250, $500, $1,000, $5,000 or more to our radio ad campaign:

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = California Business Roundtable Campaign Continues = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

If you’ve been reading our updates lately you know we are involved in an important effort to compel the California Business Roundtable to drop its stated *opposition* to the Recall Gray Davis campaign.

On June 4th, the California Business Roundtable (CBRT) issued a statement declaring their unanimous opposition to the recall campaign.

However, since that time we have found more and more member companies of the California Business Roundtable have disavowed this position and state that they do not support the California Business Roundtable’s representation that its member companies unanimously oppose the Recall effort.

So we have given out contact information for companies that are members of the California Business Roundtable and asked you to contact them and urge them to drop their stated opposition to the Recall Gray Davis effort.

We will be targeting one or two CBRT corporations per e-mail each time we send out an update on the recall effort. We ask that every supporter of the Recall Gray Davis effort contact these companies and let them know what you think of their opposition to the recall effort.

Today’s target company is CNF, Inc. which is based out of Palo Alto.

E-mail a note of protest over CNF being a member company of CBRT and participating in a “unanimous” vote to oppose the recall effort:

Allen.Jim@CNF.com. CNFMedia@cnf.com cnfinvestors@cnf.com info@cnf.com mercer.ken@cnf.com nelson.mark@cnf.com colvert.nancy@cnf.com

Write/Call/Fax CNF Inc.

====================== CNF Inc. 3240 Hillview Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94304 Phone: (650) 494-2900

If they respond to you over the phone or via email that they are not part of this “unanimous” decision then please refer them to:

http://www.sgvtribune.com/Stories/0,1413,205~24512~1435513,00.html

"The California Business Roundtable, a group of about 60 chief executives, took the ***unanimous vote*** at a regularly scheduled board meeting Tuesday, said the group's president, Bill Hauck."

Let them know that until we receive a public statement by CNF’s corporate officials disavowing the Roundtable’s assertion that they are part of a “unanimous” decision to oppose the recall, CNF, Inc. will remain a company targeted by the Recall Gray Davis Committee and we will keep the spotlight on them and their actions in opposing the recall.

Did you see that the Wall Street Journal has endorsed the recall effort? Read their OpEd by clicking the link below:

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Our Timeline = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

We’ll be sending out an updated Q&A and Timeline soon for all of you who have questions about what’s next for the recall effort and the process of qualification.

For now – just know that our goal is to have collected in excess of 1.2 million signatures by July 4th which will mark our Independence Day from the corrupt regime of Governor Gray Davis.

This is why we are making such a strong final push through volunteer efforts and our paid radio ad campaign.

So please if you have a petition with even just one signature on it, send it back to us RIGHT AWAY:

Recall Gray Davis Committee P.O. Box 1445 Sacramento, CA 95812

Don’t forget to help us extend our radio advertising buy into next week. CLICK BELOW to support the extension of our ad campaign into another week:

Ping just in case you haven't seen this email I received this am. Bottom line. Davis will be out of office. Now whether the Dimwit Davis resigns or not, I believe he is history in politics. And no matter what the outcome I also believe the Dimwit party will become a minority party in CA. The vast majority of CA taxpayers have had quite enough of lying, cheating and re-distribution of their hard earned money by the liberals in Sacramento. Worst case scenario for us is that the state goes into BK. But those of us who can afford to stay, there will be a revolt in 2004 with Boxer and the state legislature and again in 2006.

So, has either Bill Clinton or Al Gore bought a house in California to declare their new residency so that one of them can run for governor once Davis is toast??!!
