Officers' safety during sniper attacks investigated
Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose is facing new criticism -- but this time, it's not about his book deal.
W-U-S-A T-V reports that the county's Fraternal Order of Police is investigating questions about officers' safety during last fall's sniper shootings. The report is said to be exploring the possibility that important information was withheld from officers patrolling the streets during the attacks.
The Fraternal Order of Police isn't releasing any details about the investigation.
Moose has also been under fire from the county's ethics commission for a yet-to-be published book about the sniper manhunt.
A county ethics commission ruled in March that he stop work on the book, and state and federal courts have yet to rule on Moose's appeal of that decision.

Wonder when the moosie defenders show up. I trashed this guy at the time and took lots of vitriol.
Of course, Moosie witheld info about the blacks. When he finally announced the sketches, he sent you to the website and did not hold a pict.
He indirectly killed people.

Saw that he resigned on the news wire about ten minutes ago.

The report is said to be exploring the possibility that important information was withheld from officers patrolling the streets during the attacks. My guess is that the info was that the snipers were black mooselimbs in a blue car.

what does this have to do with "WMAL" or anybody resigning?

The Associated Press, WFLS News (Rockville-AP) -- There are reports that Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose has tendered his resignation. In a brodcast report Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan as saying Moose has submitted a letter stating he would resign June 28th. Moose has been at odds with Montgomery County over book and movie deals, which the county's ethics commission told him he can't accept. Moose then turned around and sued the commission, and that case is pending.

I guess they won't be buying antiques... When Moose and his nutty wife cash in on the book deal and inevitable made-for-TV movie deal they'll have more than enough money for antiques.
Another phony "man of the people" hero of the liberal media has been outed as a complete joke.

That news link has spelling mistakes. Is it legitimate? The header said "there are reports of resignation"; in journalism, if it were a fact, you would write "Chief 'so and so' tendered his resignation today'
