Several patrols and plainclothes men's bikes have been destroyed as were caught filming the demonstrators. the regime's agents were saved from lynchage with the intervention of some of the protesters.
Tear Gas is used in different areas and chase and run is taking place.

maybe time and newsweek can print pictures of protesters to make it easy for the iranians to round them up and slaughter them much like they(media) did re:tiannemen square
To: Husker24
...its too bad this is getting no coverage from the news channels...
I couidn't agree more.
Keep emailing the media. It appears to be having an effect.

Where the heck is the War Slut on CNN? She is Iranian and she isn't covering this story heavily like every other crisis in the world.
Everybody write to FOX/CNN/MSNBC to give this the coverage it deserves. The white light of truth is what the regime fears the most.
Tianamen square happened because the media was kicked out. Time to get videophones to these demonstrators and let their struggle be shown to the world.

Here's hoping. Something tells me basic black is going to be a very unpopular fashion statement pretty soon.

I love the Laci Peterson story as the next person. I follow the case. But Fox needs to be ashamed of themselves. There are tens of thousands of kids risking their lives right now in the streets of Tehran. Can FOX at least show 1/10th the Laci Coverage to the revolution that is formenting in Iran?
I will not be surprised if the government falls while Greta is on discussing pre-trial motions.

... Did I read that correctly? Hundreds of thousands....is that with five zeroes? 100,000+?...
That's what they are reporting.
From what I am hearing it appears to be the case.

Here is a BBC News article updated a few hours ago:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/2991162.stm Tehran sees fifth night of protest
Students say they will continue the demonstrations
Thousands of pro-reform demonstrators have taken to the streets of the Iranian capital Tehran for the fifth successive night.
The protests, which are now reported to have spread to other cities, have been against the conservative clerical establishment and the reformist President, Mohamed Khatami, who is accused of betraying hopes for change.
A White House statement reiterated support for democratic reform in Iran, demanding that the voice of the Iranian people be heard.
Despite the rough treatment of protesters, and warnings from Ayatollah Khamenei, our correspondent says the demonstrators' resolve to continue speaking out against the slow process of reform shows no sign of waning.
Student associations have said they will continue to demonstrate until 9 July, to commemorate the violent attack by hardline groups on students four years ago.

Do you know of any sources in Iran that are uploading video of the events? Somebody in Tehran must have a digital cam that they can link up to the internet somehow.

I love the Laci Peterson story as the next person. Not this next person. Please, do not mention that in serious threads. If you wish to complain about TV coverage, go do it on a Laci thread. God knows, y'all got a ton and a half.
They shovel thay pap because of folks who "love" it.
It is pathetic.
