Free Republic Protests at Hillary Booksigning

WASHINGTON (Talon News) -- Members of the Washington, DC chapter of Free Republic protested outside a Pennsylvania Avenue bookstore on Thursday as Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) signed copies of her book. Kristinn Taylor, co-chairman of the group indicated that their purpose was not to prevent anyone from buying the book, but to remind people of the legacy of the Clintons.
The "Freepers" as they are known, were stationed across the street from the hundreds who sweltered in the summer humidity of the nation's capital to pay $28 for the instant best seller. They staged a book-throwing contest to mimic the former First Lady's legendary lob of a lamp at her husband and shouted slogans.
Through a bullhorn, they spoke of "the Hillary freak show," a fictional circus performance featuring players from the Clinton scandals. One member was dressed as a devil and others held up placards lampooning Mrs. Clinton and her husband.
Taylor said that he was responsible for the senator's decision to personally sign the books instead of distributing copies "autographed" with an autopen. He said a publicity campaign conducted with radio talk show hosts including Curtis Sliwa in New York and Dom Giordano in Philadelphia "forced Hillary to do the first honest day's work in years."
Two of the basic rules the Freepers observe during any of their demonstrations are prohibitions against profanity and violence. This event was no exception as their protest concluded without incident.

Kristinn's carnival barker rendition of the Hillary freak show" was the Clinton era condensed into bulleted information. The man from Voice of America recorded Kristinn while he was speaking to the crowd in front of Trover Books.
The good doctor and the devil suit must be annoying Miz Hitlery greatly--keep it up, doctor, wherever she is, be there with your red face--LOL!
It's good to see some new names among the DC freepers. You oldtimers need some new blood to help you out.
Does anyone have her book promotion schedule?
Does she dare come to Houston?
