Exactly. Hamas are Palestians

And the SS Death Squads were Germans -- so clearly no German can be trusted, right?

By labeling all Palestinians as terrorists and targets, you're doing nothing more than guaranteeing that no peace can ever be achieved.

Now, it may well be that Palestinians in general do not want peace. I do not believe that, however. What I do believe is that groups like Hamas have done a good job of making ordinary Palestinians think they don't want peace.

The Israelis haven't done much to convince them otherwise -- though of course the need to respond to Hamas, et al, makes that understandable. Hamas knows this, of course, which is why they blow somebody when it's convenient.

I think that once Hamas is taken out -- and it will be -- then the ordinary Palestinians will have the breathing space necessary to make rational decisions.

Good points, r. I should have stated in my other post to not lump *all* muslims/palestinians in the same group.

It's a fact that Palestinians inculcate their children with a visceral hatred of jews (just like the Nazis did). How many times do you have to see a mother celebrate and exalt her dead homicide-bomber child as a hero before you realize that the Palesitinians have created a culture of death wherein hatred is a virtue and suicide is a noble act? You need to do your homework friend.

"May well be?" No doubt about it! These people danced in the streets when 911 happened and they demonstrated in support of Saddam in 1991 and 2003 Iraq wars. They are a corrupt people. Period. The evidence is clear. Where do you think Hamas recruits from? Further, they persecute and kill anyone who doesn't sympathize with their hatred and islamic radicalism.

Easy for you to say...you have not had 100 million muslims trying to destroy you for 55 years, under constant terrorist attack for 10 years. How would you respond? Hold hands with the PLO and sing Kumbaya?

How naive...what about other homicidal groups: Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martyrs, Arafat's paramilitary? Take them out too? Normal Palestinians - no such animal exists that I know of.

I disagree. The concept of a "Palestinian people" is quite new. I believe it dates back only to the time of the 1967 War. Prior to that, there were Arabs who wanted to wage war, kill the Jews and take the land. After the war, a new strategy was adopted. Some of the Arabs who lived in Jordan decided to call themselves "Palestinians". Oh, they continued to wage war, and kill the jews, but they also tried to go a political route thru the UN in order to take the land.

IMO, people who call themselves "Palestinian" are not identifying themselves as a true ethnic group (no such thing) but are instead revealing their political ideology (and its a nasty one).
