[history]
He's been a mayor, a socialist and, by his own admission, a pariah.
Seventy-seven-year-old Buford Posey reflects about his work with the civil rights movement and the murders of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner in Neshoba County in June 1964.

Shouldn't leave murder alone. No statute of limitations.

The real irony is that the old Clarion Ledger/Jackson Daily News when owned by the Hedermans was up to it's eyeballs in the Sovereignty Commission and the Citizen's Council...and their bias in that direction was overwhelming....there were a few moderate Civil Rights papers like those owned by the Emmerichs and that son of satan Hodding Carter Jr.'s daddy in Greenville.
Now, the CL is Gannett owned and Mike Moore is a publicity whorehound....and this stuff plays well...hell, it's life imitating the movies and vice versa.
From what I've heard about Posey, I wouldn't believe squat from him.
One interesting quote "Now that the Klan is gone"...lol...he should tell that to all of the Yankee FReepers who think we are all members down here.

Is there a statute on race baiting?

I could care less about race. I do care about murder though.

I feel the same way. It is the C\L that I fault.
They are the ones that race bait whether it has anything to do with murder or not. They don't care about finding killers only finding the race card.

Agreed. To Northeastern and West Coast White Liberals, I say this: Bigotry is a sword that cuts both ways.
People who believe Southerners are all Klansmen in waiting really ought to read the sayings of both Nathan Bedford Forrest and Abraham Lincoln on the subject of Black people. They'd see who the real neanderthal bigot was.
ON MOORE:
The most dangerous place in Jackson is any point on a straight line between Mike Moore and a T.V. camera. He's Ray Mabus's shoeshine boy. Mabus is Bill Clinton's shoeshine boy.

I hope something comes out of these charges that lawyers have been paying off loans for judges.
Hope I said.
