Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------

The AR15.com family proudly welcomes you to the much anticipated shooting event of the year: GUNSTOCK

This 3 day event will be held in Waco, Texas from Friday October 10th through Sunday October 12th, 2003.

GUNSTOCK will give those attending, an opportunity to do informal shooting as well as to participate in organized competitions in the superb range facilities of L T Dillon Range, in Watt.

The event gives everyone the flexibility to customize their experience by choosing among the numerous and diverse activities offered. Besides shooting, these include: shooting demonstrations, professional firearms instruction, interaction with vendors and representatives of the gun industry, and sightseeing the local points of interest, among other things.

Sleeping accommodations run the full gamut, from relaxed outdoor camping to comfortable luxury hotel properties, depending on your preference and budget.

There will be plenty of time at night for the traditional get-togethers around the campfire, or for smaller and more intimate conversations with friends.

This shall be an excellent time to make acquaintances or to strengthen bonds of friendship already established in the shooting community.

We look forward to seeing you there and to share a weekend that will be treasured for many future years!

This sounds like a great event. I'm going to try to round up some TX Second Amendment Sisters and see if we can participate in this event.

I bet you that the police departments do not have to worry about rapes happening at Gunstock, unlike in Woodstock 99

I hope they're not still mad at me for shooting the heck out of their berm.

Long story short. My AR happened to have 1/3 clicks and I didn't notice it until I got to the 600 yard line. I always wondered why I had to add more elevation even when my math seemed correct.

It was worse than that. The poor guy who was getting dirt rained on him was the guy who invited me. LOL.

The guy who helped me was Rick Crawford. A real nice guy. He asked what I was shooting and I almost became a little impatient with him because he could see it was an AR. He asked if it was an Eagle and I told him it was. I could see him roll his eyes from 15 feet away.

Eagle's had 1/3 clicks and they were later bought by Armalite. The company replaced the rear sight block and the rear sight with 1/2 clicks for nothing.

Rick Crawford .....? Sorry can't put a face with the name. I was up at a mouse gun match at Raton last fall and there was a Crawford on the list of shooters. Might have been him.

Stay safe !!

This is the same weekend as another big gun event, I think that machine gun shoot at Knob Creek or knob hill or knobber something or another.

Anyway, I can't make that's for sure.
