Ideas are for more powerful than guns. We don't allow our enemies to have guns, why should we allow them to have ideas?

When did I ever say my opponents should not have ideas? I said that everyone was welcome to their opinion, and welcome to hate teachers if that is their desire. However, that in and of itself does not mean that I need to respect their opinion or take them seriously. If I am going to take anyone's ideas seriously, they need to be backed up with fact, not just personal opinion by itself. I don't really see why this quote is at all relative to the discussion about teachers hourly wages.
