Microsoft vs. General Motors

Bill Gates is hanging out with the chairman of General Motors.

"If automotive technology had kept pace with computer technology
over the past few decades," boasts Gates, "You would now be
driving a V-32 instead of a V-8, and it would have a speed of
10,000 miles per hour. Or, you could have an economy car that
weighs 30 pounds and gets a thousand miles with a gallon of gas.
In either case, the sticker price of a new car would be less than
$50."

In response to all this goading, the GM chairman replies, "Yes,
but would you really want to drive a car that crashes four times
a day?"

I am as well. I have voices speaking to me. They go something like this:

Mommy, can I have this...Mommy, can I have that...Mommy, no fair..I wanted that one. Mommy, is it okay to feed the DVD player? Mommy, is it bad to spill stuff on the computer? Mommy, remember when you told me to______(fill in the blank), well I forgot to tell you that_______(fill in the blank). Yep! I can understand the whole "voices" issue. Believe me!!LOL!

CUBS BREAKING NEWS - Sosa's suspension reduced --------------------------------------------------------

June 11, 2003 Major League Baseball today announced that it has reduced the suspension given to Cubs outfielder SAMMY SOSA for using a corked bat on Tuesday, June 3, at Wrigley Field from eight games to seven games.

The announcement was made by Bob DuPuy, Major League Baseball's president and chief operating officer, following an appeal hearing held yesterday in Baltimore.

Sosa will begin serving the suspension tonight, and will not be eligible to return to the lineup until Wednesday, June 18, when the Cubs visit the Cincinnati Reds.

I did see Spinner. Looks like the kids have all the dance moves covered now. That's cool that The Goddess found him in her closet and gave him to you. You have quite the group to take care of now. I hope Nonie has lots of patience.

And why aren't you at work? And whine, whine, whine. Good grief. Do you need a nap?

Let me know when you can come out with a smile on your face and I'll see what I can do. And where is your lunchbox?
