G,Morning Kathy Hw's it going?
BTW, Freepers today is the day Microsoft usually send out their critical updates for Windows so if you have one of those computers be sure to check for those updates and download them if they're available.
Also, this is the day Norton updates their virus definitions. Be sure to download those too, Re: the really bad computer viruses making their runs.

Morning, troops and Canteen crew! We're doing some Big Time press swattin' over at the war thread and the new Saddam atrocity thread today. Stop by and forward a Saddam mass-murder or two to your favorite reporter or Senator.
Better wait 'til the pancakes settle. Sigh.
CENTCOM - Daily:
I have no more fear now. From the moment Iraq was liberated I felt as though my two sons had been brought back to me.
A woman whose 17-year-old son, Sardar Osman Faraj, was executed in Iraq in 1985 and another was killed by unknown assassins in 1992. Los Angeles Times, 6/8/03
Every day I buy a different paper. I like them all.
Ali Jabar, 28, picking up a Kurdish daily newly available in Iraq, Washington Post, 6/8/03
It's a big change. We used to get central instructions from the Ministry of Information. Now we no longer do. Azzaman is independent. It lets the readers learn and decide the political currents.
Abdel-Majid, of the Azzaman newspaper in Iraq, Washington Post, 6/8/03
Newspapers are not the only forum being used to express political views in postwar Iraq. The walls of the capital once decorated with portraits of Saddam Hussein have become a battleground for competing ideas. They even show a sense of humor. In Baghdad this week, the following was neatly written in marker on the back of a double-decker bus: Very urgent, wanted: New president for Iraq.

Good morning, ms feather, I'm having computer issues this morning. At home, Explorer must said it needed to quit, and it did. Now at work, I've already had to reboot. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! How be you this fine day? We got a couple hours of RAIN, enough to water the lawns. Possibility of some for the next couple day. I will believe it when I see it.

It's your fault that I am late getting on and THANKING OUR MILITARY PERSONNEL, PAST AND PRESENT, FOR THEIR SERVICE. I was rearing to go and then saw the pancakes with strawberries and had to go fix me some. Now I'm ready to go.
A sincere Thank you to the families of our troops also.
To all of our troops, their families and everyone supporting them: I thank you for allowing me to sit herein a comfortable setting and eat freshly prepared food, watch TV and enjoy my Freedom. May God Bless you all.

Bits & Pieces of WIZDUMB from My "Voices"
The biggest rock in the world is in northern Australia. Ayer's Rock is 1,175 feet tall, but that's less than the half of it. It also extends 6,890 feet underground. The reddish- brown monolith changes color throughout the day and it glows.
Rumor has it Madonna is having it set in a ring that she'll wear on her next tour.
