As the first cruiser back at his computer, I have the honor of starting this thread and posting the above pic, which was taken at the foot of the staircase descending into the "London Room", which was the dining room each evening for our Freeper Contingent.

Yes. Timmy The Chef has informed me his name was Antonio (as in Banderas), and all T the C did was help him conquer the Elliptical Machine. Coulda happened to any cute Marine with good legs.

I've been sitting here munching on some of The Shrew's excellent beef jerky, but when I read that line I had to give myself the Heimlich Maneuver.

OK, found my power cord and downloaded some of the pictures from the cruise. I am now auctioning off 1 photo of the "poodles", all four, from one of the formal nights. (I copped a picture of their photo, so the quality isn't first rate, but then neither was theirs!!) First one who says they can post it, I will email it to them for everyone's enjoyment (I'm photo-posting challenged)

After all, they don't fall under the category of WHOTCSOTC, do they?

I hear you have a following...........

Uh huh. So much for the Cruise Oath of Secrecy...

On Friday night some loud, bombed female glommed onto me at the piano bar as I was considering my latest Foster's, by way of persuading me to sing. Fortunately, I was able to shrug her off and shoo her away before my wife had time to deck her. In retrospect, I may have picked the less entertaining option...

I knew this fame thing would go right to your head! I knew it would be like opening the Pandora's box of Freeper Fame! You actually presumed too much. I merely stated that people enjoyed your music and used the specific example of the guy in the parking lot! I intentionally left out the Bombed female glomming as I found it undignified.

I do agree with you - watching Sarah deck her would have been infinitely more entertaining. It would have been one of those seven second fights!

You were great! A hit of the cruise! I would expect Carnival Human Resources to be contacting you any day!

Regards,

TS

That's also where The Shrew discovered that it isn't really possible to crush a Fosters oil can on your forehead. At least not completely

I hope to see this in Albuquerque.

Anybody who buys and helps drink a six pack of oil cans can witness this little event - in Albuquerque or elsewhere! It also proves I'm getting old!

What's your flight schedule for August and September? Are you still looking at Vail, CO?

Regards,

TS

Thanks, but the only way Carnival contacts me is if they come up short on the towel count.

Also, piano bar is a pretty dismal job. You have to do requests.

It's a good thing you can out run me! Next time you have to go on the cruise and bring the wife and kids! We need to stimulate the economy!

And that back-up group you brought along was also pretty good! I can't wait to see the photo of you singing at the piano with your Mom looking on at you with total pride. She was a treasure. Thank her for the pamphlets - I read them on the plane on the way home - they are streched out on the coffee table even as we write!

No, that would be: "Slip. Crunch! Owww!!"

That was definitely a "Slip, Glub, Aspirate a Gallon of Falls Water, Cough, Wheeze, Crunch, Owww!!". I know, for I was right there when it happened. Get it right, mon ;)

Wolverines have those short, stubby little legs too. And you know how THEY get when cornered. I saw the man diligently keep up his physical training during the entire cruise - he'll be a handful.

(In return for this sage advice, I want first refusal on an invite to the wedding. Or, the wake as the case may be.)

Some Freepers have ALL the luck (grumble, snivel ...)

Neil Armstrong and I do share one common experience - we both slept in the Sea of Tranquility on our trip.

I think Antonio was from Brooklyn, New York. If not Brooklyn, it was definitely Noo Yawk. I was in the elevator with him a couple of times and heard him and his group speak.

T the C is top drawer, A number one in my book. I must reserve comment on his cuteness and legs for obvious reasons.

"Next time you have to go on the cruise and bring the wife and kids! We need to stimulate the economy!"

Couldn't. They didn't have enough cabins on the ship to accomodate us. The ports of call complained; too many all at once, local economies couldn't handle it.

I recall a crew member telling me that there were only 8 staterooms empty on the entire ship (likely spread out over the 9 or so passenger decks) during our voyage. Kinda puts the lie to the Norwalk Virus naysayers, doesn't it?

Sure hope you and your brood can make it next time.
