I love this and don't have a problem with any of it. But what if we basically look like and act like and dress like a Victoria's Secret girl and he STILL won't act like a soap opera guy?

Would that be because watching soap operas for a guy is less preferable to say ... pre-fontal lobotomy and castration .... ????

My own summary of soap operas ..... someone's in trouble, someone's just getting out of trouble and dealing with consequences, someone's having an affair, someone's getting in trouble ... and about once every year someone dies.

That pretty much says it all for soap operas. What do women see in these things ??

As a woman, my opinion of soap operas has always been that they give you brain damage. Give me a good action or horror movie, a good comedy, especially a spoof, a good documentary on the history channel, or ANY good sci fi series any day....NASCAR & football...heck, the Travel Channel has better programming than soap operas....

Maybe that's why I have always gotten along better with males than with females....I've always wondered, but have NEVER been able to figure that one out.

I have absolutely no idea. On those rare occasions when I'm bored and have to stay indoors, I'll read a history book. I'd pay cash to avoid having to watch a soap opera--and I'm a woman.

In the context of this discussion, "soap opera guy" is meant to suggest someone who is passionate, sensitive, and manly, which is a bit different from the shaved-chest, shaped-eyebrow guys on a soap opera. I suspect most of those soap opera actors would be terrified of my power tools and guns. Real woman want real men, not hairless actors.
