This one is THE winner tonight! I agree, the energy shown in these pictures of our President and our Troops is really wonerderful.

What you don't know him? Why Clara Lou, sure you do! We visit him everynight here, have since he took office! Of course we know him! :-)

That sounds like one heck of a book from one heck of a First Lady. I can't wait til it comes out. It sounds like Mrs. Bush didn't use a ghost writer, and I'm betting that she won't be desperately begging for an airbrushed cover photo.

I heard it live when he said it :-), and coming from a highly decorated Top Gun Pilot, it was a major compliment to our President.
I take a lot of crap from so-called "true" conservatives who bitch and moan about this President not answering their every conservative wish, and I'm called a Bushbot, RINO, Bootlicker and many other names for understanding that GWB is never going to be able to govern this country while ignoring those on the left. The Federalist papers even speak about what is expected of a president since he is elected. He's to be the President of all the people and answer to all of the people.
There are times that I am upset with GWB's compromises and especially his neglect to reign in Congressional spending. But I'm also aware that my wishes are just that...WISHES, all these people who say they are going to stay home or vote for an unelectable are just acting like spoiled little brats that bitch and moan because things didn't go their way.
I have learned this about this website, it attracts extremist of every order and the negativity that boils over from time to time doesn't represent middle America. The fact is, George W. Bush has done one hell of a job for his first three years in office and I don't think too many could of handled the many crisis's that we have faced like he has.
He has not only handled the EP-3 incident with China, but also 9/11, Operation Enduring Freedom, The loss of the Space Shuttle Astronauts, Iraqi Freedom as well as getting 3 Tax cuts passed, Made history in the mid-term elections in 2002, Got us out of the ABM Treaty without damaging our relationship with Russia, Consolidated a huge portion of our government to become a centralized office of Homeland Security, Made a bunch of fundamental changes and accountability in the way foreign aid is dispersed and all this while liberating 50 million people from their brutal oppressors.
I challenge anyone to show me a more productive and successful President than George W. Bush in his first 3 years

Here's a slightly differently angled photo I found over at Mullings.com....with the related caption!
President Bush runs with outstretched arms to cheering American troops at al-Udeid air base in Doha, Qatar, as he prepares to board Air Force One for a return flight to Washington, Thursday June 5, 2003. The soldiers and airmen waited in sweltering 100-degree-plus heat to greet the commander-in-chief as he wrapped up a seven-day trip to Poland, Russia, France and the Middle East.

It's good to see all of the President's acomplishments listed together. And what a list it is. He has acomplished some amazing and extraordinary things in just three years. And all this from a guy who works 24/7. That's 24 weeks a year, 7 hours a day. He really needs to cut back on his napping. :)

I think the question should be: What kind of dork are you?

Thanks, I would like to think I'm right all the time, But I know better :-), But I do know this for sure...... This country and the rest of the world is very fortunate that George W. Bush is the POTUS. I seriously doubt anyone else could have rallied this country and lead the world in this fight for our survival from these terroist and the general safety of the entire world. GWB leadership abilities have earned him the respect of the world, and this 7 day 6 nation trip is proof of that respect. The G-8 meeting was completely dominated by George W. Bush and the Summit in Jordan wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for him. I just wish Ronald Reagan was capable of witnessing this President, HE WOULD BE PROUD

Rush said it yesterday.......the only person that ANYONE cared about, the only opinions that ANYONE cared about, at the G-8 summit and in the Middle East.....were President Bush's.
He has commanded the authority, and gained the respect of all the world's leaders (whether they admit it or not), because he MEANS what he SAYS, and has the courage to carry out what he has promised he will do!
I agree with you about (dear) Ronnie! I wish he were able to see and understand what young George Bush is doing for this country, and for the world.....
He WOULD be proud!

Welcome Home, Mr. President, INDEED!
There is such joy and admiration between the servicemen and women and our President. Those men and women would go anywhere to serve under that man. It's been hard on them, but not as hard as it could've been had it been anyone else.
We've been so incredibly blessed. Thank you Jesus, for bringing him home to America.
To: Howlin
I agree, Howlin! Look at that man, running to greet the troops. Oh my, how could anyone not love our Cinc, and the love he has for his troops. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw this pic - it just so touched me.
You're right - it's the picture of the night.

I say that about Ronald Reagan, because I truly believe George W. Bush wants to model his presidency more after Ronald Reagan's than he does his own fathers. You and I both know how much he loves his dad, but I think George W. Bush had an inside view of what made Ronald Reagan tick and witnessed first hand the incredible leadership he showed while he was the POTUS, as well as his ability to speak directly to me and you from his heart. I believe this made a huge impression on George W. Bush. Not to mention Ronnie chose his dad to be his VP and helped him become #41.
God Bless Ronald Reagan, We are just beginning to see all the good Ronald Reagan did for this world and it's nice to know George W. Bush is following in the traditions of the great leader like Ronald Reagan
