The irony in this article is that Communism and Christianity share the same ethics -- altruism.

What about Lenin, the inventor of Terrorism

Lenin learned it from a woman--Vera Zasulich. Her attack on the St. Petersburg Chief of Police in 1878 ushered in a era of terror against the Russian state which ended with the Bolshevik revolution.

I do not believe that campus communism (with a small "c") ever stopped growing in America in the 20th Century. We had periods, such as were triggered by Goldwater in the late 50s and early 60s, and Reagan in the 70s and early 80s, when Conservatism may have also grown--and for a brief period drowned out the Left on some campuses--but the recruiting by the enemy of those susceptible, has never stopped.

Anyone who makes the mistake of believing that the fight in the West is over, simply because one form of the disease collapsed in Eastern Europe, is very naive--and does not understand the power of envy, resentment and the other negative motivators.

Capitalism is good but it does have it’s dark side and I believe needs to regulated

But isn't that socialism, the first step on the Road to Serfdom?

Communism and Christianity share the same ethics -- altruism

Under communism, the ethics is enforced altruism -- every human exists for the good of all others.

Under Christianity, the ethics of "goodness" is altruism, selflessness - the opposite of selfishness.

That's true, but still; the Christian faith santifies self sacrifice. If you had to choose between saving your own son or saving seven other boys, you'd be expected to save the seven ... and you'd never forgive yourself for sacrificing your own son.

Mr. Morrison gives a good overview of Marxism here but he forgot to mention the Gramsci influence. The strain of Marxism now emerging in the West is very much modeled on the ideas of Antonio Gramsci. This is why there is such overwhelming financial support for various leftist schemes from the folks one would think would be opposed - the corporate elite. Both the Ford and Rockefeller foundations (to name only two) are notorious in their support of various radical groups like MEChA, and La Raza, the ACLU, SPLC, etc. All of the leftist movements and organizations active here, whether feminist, multiculturalist/PC, or environmentalist are Marxist in their underlying philosophy.

For example, if one looks at the list of corporations who filed amicus briefs with the Supreme Court in the "Affirmative Action" case, it reads like a who's who list of the top corporations. This is all right in line with Gramsci's vision of a "long march through the institutions" (corporations, church governments, universities and public schools, foundations, arts organizations, etc.). The elite schools where many of the CEOs received their education have been hotbeads of Marxist indoctrination for decades. Mr. Morrison is quite correct that Marxism is by far the most murderous religion in world history, having claimed well over 100 million victims thus far (not counting abortion). This fact is left unmentioned by the leftist-controlled media like the NY Times who have managed to label Hitler as a right-winger in order to continue the ongoing smear campaign against anyone who dares to oppose their agenda.

If he was talking about fraud, I would agree.

His idea of Capitalism leading to Corporatism leading to Marxism may have some merit. However, I would think it is the government regulation that makes the Corporatism possible.

I know that today you hear more about Muslims killing Christian but the most deadly tool of Satan to kill those who follow Christ is the Marxist.

The author shouldn't have used a "but" here. Most islamic countries are socialist in nature or spirit, saddam hussein was actually a hardcore stalinist, and modeled himself and his governments philosophy after stalin. (If you wanted him to like you, all you had to do was give him one of two kinds of things, somthing with his image on it, or something related to stalin).

The full name of the baath party is actually the baath socialist party. These countries actually are structurally socialist.
