Title of this thread should be: "She Knew. Everyone Knew. Nobody Cares Anymore."

A big ho-hum for old news. Hitlery and the publisher's spin machine are going to have quite a job on their hands selling enough copies of this book to earn out the $8 million advance. In the immortal words of the '60s rock group The Fugs, "There's nothing as cold as yesterday's orgasm."

Anyone else remember the Fugs?

"Anyone else remember the Fugs?"

Yes, I recall a few of their lyrics:

"I awakened in a pit of ashes, and the sky was cloudy and bloat."

And also: "I believe that golden lizards fly somewhere in sunshine."

If I recall, band members included Ed Sanders, Tuli Kupferberg, Pete Kearney, and one other. When I started seeing Fugs albums in the corner drugstore, I figured civilization had taken a turn.

One other Fugs recollection: I have some old videos of the Ed Sullivan Show, and after a performance by Steppenwolf, Ed called the band over and asked them who their favorite musicians were. The bass player replied, "The Fugs," and Ed clearly had never heard of them - he still thought the name was "The Frogs" even after the guy repeated "The Fugs" two or three times. It's an amusing little exchange.

yes, and I remember when the Mothers of Invention and the Fugs had an on stage gross-out contest.
and though it would fit right in with the content of this thread... I just don't want to go there...

Sean Hannity today said that the book will be a big seller since the tabloid-loving females, the union members, envirowackos and the Klintoon-loving RATS will buy it for the "facts" ( but they will find nothing more than more lies and embellishments of the truth to make her look good--so hard to do!)). I hope it hits the "discount" bins at cut-rate book stores soon!

As ashamed as I am to admit it, I've listened to "Coca Cola Douche" many times.
