Nine Illegal Aliens Arrested [working construction. No American were willing work perhaps?]

Nine illegal aliens have been arrested while working on the New Hampton Inn project in East Aurora.

Investigative Reporter Luke Moretti tell us the Building Trades Council blew the case open.

Buffalo Building Trades Council President Daniel Boody said, "All in the name of greed."

Greed, say these top area union leaders, comes in the form of illegal aliens found working on the Hampton Inn Hotel project in East Aurora.

Last month, nine undocumented workers from Mexico were busted by immigration officers.

"Approximately eight guys getting out of the van."

The case got rolling after the Buffalo Building Trades Council was tipped off.

Daniel Boody said, "...complaints by non-union construction workers that are layed off that thought they would be working here for that employer."

The project developer is Paul Bandrowski. Union officials say not only did Bandrowski have illegal aliens working on the seven million dollar, eighty room hotel project, they stayed at a residence he owns on Main Street.

Mike Barczys of Carpenters Local #9 said, "...hard for a guy and for a superintendent of that caliber to not know that on his site when he walks through nine illegal aleins are working there."

But Bandrowski tells us a sub-contractor handled the work detail and temporary housing. He denies having any knowledge of the situation.

Question: You don't have any knowledge of that at all? Aurora Ventures Chairman Paul Bandrowski said, "None at all. We would never condone it. We as a company make sure that every contractors we have, with every sub-contractor says that everybody has to be legal to work in the United States."

An immigration spokesman from Vermont tells me that nine illegal aliens were arrested on May 23rd. Eight have since been deported back to Mexico. One remains in the United States because of a criminal history.

Despite the labor setback, work continues on the East Aurora Hampton Inn, scheduled to open this summer.

NOBODY wants to admit the TRUTH about our Latino workers. They are our slaves. We all benefit immensly from their peonage in EVERY aspect of our daily lives. Yes there are a host of problems attenuating our USE of them and we all suffer them. The ONLY way to deal with this problem is to legalize them as guest workers ... insure they are taxed and FICAed and heavilly criminalize treating them in an inhuman manner. It's not right to have slaves. We should be willing to pay the real price of labour in this land.

The only work the ones in my NJ neighborhood did was picking up the social services checks. Get a grip.

If they INS can't or won't do their job, maybe the trade unions will start making some noise about illegal immigrants "taking-job-that-lazy-Americans-won't-do".

INS is not going to do anything about it, the unions are not going to stop it, the polititians do not give a sh*t if we want it stopped and the laws will NOT be enforced.

Welcome to the United States of Amerexico.

No American were willing work perhaps?]

What's the connection? These people simply were willing to work for less --- the same reason our jobs are being exported.

Then, it's up to union members whose voices aren't heard by leadership (and everyone else for that matter) to call state authorities and complain.

There are only two things that will stop this outrage. (1) Grass roots anger. (2) A third party that wants to win, and gives us a viable pres-VP ticket that can articulate the issue and get a plurality of votes in each state.

Something like Tancredo, a proven patriot with a clean record and Ventura, who would get a lot of non-voters out, just like he did in Minnesota.

Greed comes in the form of unions who raise prevailing wages over what the market will bear, distorting the market for the benefit of the lazy and the stupid.

I suspect the truth lies somewhere between.

However, one of the two forms of greed is clearly illegal, has immediate negative consequences for the country and should be vigorously prosecuted.

Look, I'm talking about the real US. Not the guido controlled scum hole you live in. The entire South and West (that's where food is grown and factories are still being built as apposed to rusting away) float upon the wet backs of brown people. It's a fact. We are all guilty.

On the conrary. I think they should be shot on sight and any American kid who will not do the nasty entry level jobs should be allowed to starve. But we all know that's not going to happen is it? The only solution is to create a real guest worker program.

I bet you're one of thos whiners who complain about illegal workers the loudest but likes the cheap furniture in your house, the affordable restaurants where you under tip and all the chinese crap from Walfart. C'mon admit it. You benefit everyday from slave labour and you like it!

I bet you're one of thos whiners who complain about illegal workers the loudest but likes the cheap furniture in your house>>>>>>>>>>

Yep, most of my (cheap) furniture comes from garage sales....we're *middle class*, raised 4 kids, (WITHOUT gov. ANY freebies) I have to PAY for my housing, food, healthcare, and also PAY TAXES.

the affordable restaurants where you under tip >>>>>>>>>

HA HA !......lucky to be able to eat out @ local burger joint once a month. If I couldn't afford a decent tip for good service, I wouldn't be eating out. I've done some of that under-paid waitress work, Thank-you.

all the chinese crap from Walfart>>>>>>>>>>>

Try never to buy ANYTHING 'foreign made'.....but our own gov't is making that harder to do EVERYDAY. A trip to our local *walfart* sounds like you've left the country, and you get to WAIT in line (with your hamburger meat), behind some foreign speaking gal, cart piled FULL, litter of kids, and her LONE STAR CARD. (FREE groceries. compliments of the US TAXPAYERS)

You benefit everyday from slave labour and you like it! >>>>>>>>

Never had a maid or nanny, and have always done my own yard work. I do not think it's a *benefit* that MY TAXES continue to rise, in order to now build TWO more elementary schools for TOO many foreign speaking students, that some 30% ( or MORE ), will end up DROPPING OUT, I guess then to join a gang, deal drugs, loiter @ the 'day labor' corner, and natually partake in the birthing of MORE WELFARE KIDS.

The only solution is to create a real guest worker program. >>>>>>>>>

Maybe BUT........NO MORE REWARDS for our existing LAWBREAKERS, boot em' out, & let them get in line to come to the USA LEGALLY.......just as our LEGAL immigrants do.

Stiff penalties are only applied to Americans who have the termerity to try and put a stop to this. That really hacks off the government types, when someone makes them look bad.

One reason is that the contractor gets a superior product in addition to cost savings -- the training system for tradesmen in Ireland is so outstanding that the same guy who does carpentry work from Monday through Wednesday can also do electrical work on Thursday and plumbing on Friday

I had heard about Irish tradesmen and when I got a chance I grabbed a crew. Nightmare. They were completely befuddled by a plumb bob. When it didn't line up they would pull it into center and pronounce it good. DWV from hell. Meandering electrical. Lots and lots of six inch putty. The BI swore that if he ever made it to Ireland he would camp out in the rain before he would ever go in a building.

Now that it's over, it was probably the funniest job I've ever done. Those guys were dangerous because they were absolutely cocksure that they knew what they were doing. Even the Mexicans were rolling their eyes.

(WITHOUT gov. ANY freebies) === WITHOUT ANY gov. freebies.

sorry.....'bored' teenager, yakking at me.........he's long finished with the ONE yard he was lucky enough to be paid to do today. Since many of our *invaders* now beat on your door @ DAYLIGHT, wanting to mow your yard...veeery cheeep,
and slamming the door, cussing them out, does NO GOOD.

You mean the scum hole where 2/3 of the worlds eggplant is grown?

Or the scum hole which is one of the largest national producers of peaches, cranberries, etc?

looky at what you get from Joisey

You're entitled to your feelings of guilt, don't expect the rest of us to.

LOL. Thanks for the post.

I can assure you that the fellows my friend uses are among the most skilled laborers I've ever come across. The fact that many of them were his family members might have a lot to do with it.

You seem to be under the impression that cheap illegal labor lowers prices of goods, but to the best of my knowledge it only results in larger profit margins for the scumbag that employs them. I have never seen any evidence that they create lower prices.

You claim that illegals help improve quality of life for all of us in general - that they are a boon to American society, yet you are conveniently overlooking all of the costs being dished out by the taxpayers. What about the millions (billions?) of dollars they cost us in medical care, law enforcement, imprisonment, insurance write-offs, welfare, education, social security???? Why should the average Joe have to dish out more of his hard-earned money (taxes) to facilitate cheap illegal labor when it only results in padding the pockets of the scum that hires them?
