June 2, 2003 -- TEMPERS flared over the weekend in a face- to-face, TV showdown between Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly and political humorist Al Franken.
A visibly shaken O'Reilly appeared to have been caught off guard by a blistering attack by Franken in the midst of a usually sedate booksellers' luncheon in Los Angeles on Saturday.

I watched the show and thought O'Reilly did a great job.

Al Franken is tired of Mike Moore being the biggest liberal jerk in the media.

Al Franken was one of the original comedy writers for Saturday Night Live.
This is what the Commies trot out as spokespersons for their positions.
It's all they have left. Pretty funny, IMHO.
Franken should go back to what he does best and leave political leadership to those who do that best. He's another Barbra Streisand.

New Years 1980 Franken claimed on national TV during the SNL telecast the "80's would be the Al Franken decade".
His time has come and gone, on New Years 2000 and again in 2001 we canceled him out by declaring the New Cetury for "We the People".

Al Franken has NEVER been funny, in my book. I remember watching his skits on SNL when I was a kid, and thinking, "Who is this jerk, and why is he on the show when he's not even funny?"
And that Stewart Smalley character he did is a poster child for whiney, touchy-feely liberals everywhere. For being a comedian whose job it is to make people laugh and enjoy themselves, this guy sure is a nasty, vicious, SOB.
But that's typical. Liberals like to come off as caring, compassionate people until someone dares to expose their true colors. Then they show themselves as the vicious, bloodthirsty Stalinists they really are.
