Here is an example of a correct usage of the term inside the article: Iraqis will still be allowed to keep handguns, rifles and shotguns. But the new instructions contain a lengthy list of much heavier weapons that would be prohibited to most people: machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades, shoulder-fired missiles, antiaircraft guns, mortars, land mines and grenades.

I said that they were prohibited in CA, not that they were 'easy' to get anywhere else in the USA.
Actually that's not what you stated, as your remark was specifically directed at CA, and was clearly vague, and ambiguous and seemed to suggest that owning a full auto outside of the state was somehow easy to obtain and or legal, when in reality, they are either outright outlawed or severely regulated throughout the entire country.
Simply put, you seem to have your panties in a bunch. -- Get real. -- I 'said' at #11:

Iraqi irony.
-- Ali the goatherder can now possess a rifle absolutely prohibited to any of the citizens of the late great state of CA..

Simply put, you seem to have your panties in a bunch Huh? Boy you seem angry.
Perhaps you should try one of those sheep dog bra's. It rounds um up and points them in the right direction.

How dumb that you think I 'seem angry'.
Recap the posts.. At #11, I made an observation about our CA gun prohibitions being worse than Iraq's.
You attacked, making a false point.
- Thus, the 'bunched panties' are on you.. - Now you make an even sillier remark about dog 'bras'? Bizarro..
Get a grip Joe baby... Calm yourself.

I agree... Until the 1934 act that regulated the sale of machine guns, there were no regulations... It seems to me that with the exception of gangland crimes directly associated with prohibition, there really weren't any crimes committed with them...
While I disagree with some of what Pat Buchanan has to say, I still smile when asked about what he thought "reasonable" gun control laws were... I paraphrase: "If it doesn't have a trailer hitch, and isn't crew served, then an individual should be able to own it!"

It's interesting that the people of Iraq have more second amendment rights than Americans. The AK-47's that they get to keep are FULL AUTOMATIC while we poor Americans can only own SEMI-AUTO rifles.Amazing isn't it. I would be curious to see the numbers if any exist, on the crime statistics in American in compared to those in Iraq. Hard to believe they would have the same amount of theft, robbery, homicide etc as we do. If I am not mistaken, there are about 20,000 homicides a year in the US. Outside of those killed in Iraq due to war between the fanatics, I wonder if Iraq's numbers were that high in an average year of non-war related typical homicides involving private citizens.
