Fortunately, gun control seems to be becoming more and more of a loser issue as time goes by. If you look at that "other" site, there are many liberals who eloquently argue for 2nd Amendment rights, despite being complete leftisits on every other issue. It's very encouraging.

Sorry about the formatting thing. I'm still learning how to post. I also don't like to post whole articles but this one with the "Should be shot" comment had to be repeated. The Bold print is mine.

Obviously someone who doesn't live in NY, MA, Il, DC, or CA.
Talk about gun control no longer national issue, be fought in the states.

Differences in opinion on policy execution are resolvable.
Differences in opinion on Constitutional matters are not.

All it takes is a few moments of weakness and they can ram this legislation through. How do you think they got the Assault Rifle Ban passed? I have much less faith than you do in the eternal vigilance of our population. We will let our guard down. The left will constanly pursue its course of tyranny. And eventually, they will knock on my door for my guns.
The question at that point is, what will you do about it?

Those who wish to destroy the Second Amendment will be back in the future and I'll be waiting with my pen, keyboard and my vote that will go to whoever supports the Bill of Rights.
