CNN is reporting that Eric Rudolph has been captured in Murphy, North Carolina

So you must be one of Rudolph's supporters?

I am extremely suspicious of evidence that may be contrived. The FBI has not exactly been the most trustworthy in the past few years. Again, if Eric Rudolph is proven guilty in a fair trial, I want them to treat him as any other criminal. Meanwhile, he should not be tried in the press as Richard Jewell was.

MSNBC has a producer in Murphy, NC. He described the arrest: there was a man doing some dumpster diving behind a Piggly Wiggly, there was a stop, he tried to bolt, he was caught, he gave his name as Jeremy Wilson, he gave inconsistent answers to questions, he was placed in custody, one of the police officers noticed a scar on his chin and realized they might have Rudolph and took him in.

The press conference has now been moved back to 1:30 p.m.

Emily Lyons is a ghoul. I have read several interviews with her, and she is by no means a sympathetic person.

So it's okay for her to be maimed for life? Is that the way you justify the bombing? How about the cop who was killed in that bombing? Was that okay, too? And please address the murder of Alice Hawthorne, the woman killed in the Olympic Park bombing? Did she deserve it? And the dozens who were injured in the bombings? Was it their fault?

If someone wants a fair trial for a suspect, does that make him/her a supporter of that suspect? Hardly. Last time I checked, there was still a Bill of Rights in this country. Granted, those rights are starting to dwindle in the wake of mass hysteria over a few terrorist actions.
