For the first time, Al Qaeda has openly threatened the Saudi Royal Family.
An Al Qaeda statement said it would take revenge on the Royal family of they kill Saudi clerics aligned with the group.
So far, 2 Saudi imams, or preachers have been killed during a Saudi crackdown in Riyad, according to Islamic sources.
Al Qaeda has sent an e-mail to Arabic newspapers that relayed the threat against the Royal family.
The emails content was published in the London based Al Quds Al Arabi, one of the few major Arabic dailies not owned by the Kingdom.
The Kingdom has arrested 11 suspected Al Qaeda members connected to the May 12 suidice bombings in Riyad,a dn said the two imams were among them, Middle East Newsline reported.

"Aren't you sick of it already? I find it to be infantile. How many times can 'vey', 'hugh', 'series', etc. be funny? At this point, these phrases are placeholders where ideally, actual wit would be."
I'd read stale inside jokes all day long if it meant I would never have to see another thread, or hear another story on Laci and Scott Peterson.

I thought Muslims weren't supposed to kill other Muslims?
To: ewing
I'll believe it when I see it, which of course will be never. Nice little bit of disinformation though, I'll have to give them that much.

Excellent. Civil strife in the tragic kingdom. Couldn't happen to a worse bunch of scumbags. Can one root for alqaida to nail the royals?
To: ewing
So much duplicitious junk comes out of Saudi Arabia, and IMO certain Saudi "royals" support Al Qaeda, so what's the big whoop? By the way, what makes a Saudi "royal"? Seems kinda self-appointed to me, like "Queen" Latifah. :))

Now we are cooking! Anyone that doesn't think that President Bush is not a wise old fox when it comes to political moves is a damn fool.

Arent there like 140 members of the 'Royal Family?' Some of the latest numbers I've heard are 30,000!!!!!
Considering we're in the 5th or 6th generation of these guys from the original founder (in the early part of 1900's) this is not hard to believe. Think about it: each male had multiple wives (some 20, 30 or more in the early days!) and then each wife bore them 5 to 10 children (keep 'em barefoot, preggers, milking and in-the-tent) and then multiply THIS over 5 or 6 generations to the present day............
