Who is going to succeed GW?

Right now, there isn't a Republican presidential candidate ready to run in 2008. We don't need anymore "its my turn" Bob Doles. O'Reilly thinks hillary is a shoe in because the Republicans don't have anyone who can beat her. Cheney needs a rest, John McCain was once a contender but he has been wishy washy lately. Anyone have any nominees?

I'm pro-life, but I would rather have Condi than Hillary any day. I sometimes feel that the Christian right sabatoge their agenda by being so recalcitrant in their views. Hillary would be very bad for this country.

Many people disagree with me on this, but I look at it this way: I believe he's gone in for 2 separate ('stents' I believe they call them, I could be wrong) doctors meetings that we know of, in 3 years and come through rather unscathed. He is very effective as a public speaker and I truly hope his health remains good for his family and our country.

Hitlery will never be a shoo-in except for jail! I think Jeb Bush is the best candidate the Pubs can get.

Here's a prediction from a pessimist. If Iraq goes to hell in a hand-basket over the summer, with wide-ranging guerilla war breaking out, and no WMD are found, and the economy is looking sour, Bush will do an LBJ and announce that he has decided to focus all of his attention on really winning the Iraq war and so will not be a candidate for President. That is fiction. Something horrific would have to happen on the scale that has not happenned yet, like tens of thousands of deaths in Iraq. Ithink its 45 soldiers dead since Bush declared an end to "major hostilities." The media does not seem too focused on it though, laci peterson is more important than an ongoing war I guess. Like Afghanistan.
