The judge who tried to convict Pinochet was Hispanic. I don't see how the sentence is race-baiting if it refers to a real possibility rather than a conjured bogeyman.

Depends on where you are referring to. Hispanics as in from Hispania (modern portugal and spain) are caucasian with a fair amount of Moorish blood mixed in. This brand of hispanic is a miniscule % of the spanish-speaking population in the US.

Hispanics from the western hemisphere, however, have a varied genetic makeup. Some places, like Colombia and Argentina, have moderate to large parts of the population being of nearly pure european blood. Others are more mixed, and some are almost entirely composed of people of a very high % indian genetic makeup (peru, bolivia, to name a couple. Though it be incorrectly, the term hispanic is used to describe all of these groups. From the context, it appears likely that the author meant Hispanic president as in a president of the US (also possibly of a south or central american country) who is a hispanic i.e. from south or central america, so no, a Hispanic is very possibly more asian (reference - american indian DNA derives mainly from some place in east china) than european in his genetic background.

Cool idea but a bit of hyperbole considering I cant see the British SAS sitting by and allowing such a thing to happen, regardless of what British officials tried to hand him over.

BTW: "Special Forces" are Green Berets. I'm sure they'd be used for actual recon and even part of covering any exfiltration but Delta would probably be tasked with such a mission. It couldn't be more clear that the ICC and the UN are orgs whose time has come and gone. The ICC was destined to become one big sink hole of blithering idiosity. Now here it is in all it's glory. Fine, stand by it then. He could have made the point that the US might become a signatory party to the ICC in the future without bringing race or ethnic origin into it. He did so, rather emphatically and in article that had no racial overtones until his last zinger.

Based on California's current demographics, 83% of Hispanics are of Mexican ancestory.

Based on the voting record of California's Hispanics the first Hispanic governor is more likely to be a moderate Republican than a liberal Democrat.

Based of their conservative traditions, once Hispanics become a unified political majority in California they will abandon the Democratic Party. Since the Democratic party tends to be a collection of single issue special interest groups it's usefulness will no longer be needed to meet the needs of the "Hispanic community".

Mexican Americans should lean conservative, but they don't. They have been sucked into the racist political agenda of the Democratic party. Many more Mexicans are going to come here before we elect a Hispanic president, and while assimilated Mexican Americans may have conservative values, native Mexicans and new arrivals are overwhelmingly Anti-American.
