ACtually, it could make sense. What if Scott stabbed Laci in the abdomen and the knife stabbed Connor as well. As for the plastic ring around Connor's neck, that's not all that implausible either. Happens all the time to animals in the water, or so we're told. Connor could still have had a "coffin birth" and he could have been entangled in debris. Maybe it's all not likely, but neither is anything in this case.

Again how do we know this? Who is doing the leaks. I guaruntee it is not the prosecution. They have been very careful not to jeopardize their case. It fits too easily into the cult murder scenario.

Also, how do they think that the foetus remained in better condition, with cord attatched? The umbilical cord would have decomposed very quickly after being exposed to the water.

Oh, I hadn't thought of of that scenario. Thank you for explaining it. I guess the mention of a stab wound in foetus without mentioning one in the mother, threw me. This is all too difficult to think about.

Remember the mention of the "thin vomit" indicating that Laci may have been punched hard in the stomach? Maybe she was stabbed, hard in the stomach.

You better believe it. Who else are Rita and Geraldo talking to? The other day Geraldo said to Geragos "I'll miss you..." as in if there is a gag order put on the case by the judge. This is another leak by the defense trying to beat the gag order and buttress their claims of a satanic cult.

That was my initial guess is that Scott was getting physical with Laci in the kitchen, then a horrible accident happened..(knife wound, Laci bleeds uncontrollably and dies)

Then Scott mops up the blood and arranges to dump the body.
