I've been asked to start a prayer thread for Joel Kernodle. He was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Memorial Day weekend as he returned from visiting fellow veterans in West Virginia.

Joel, known as PointManHerc, was the inspiration for the Patriots Rally for America III held in 9 degree weather on the morning of January 18 this year in Washington, D.C. He and his group of veterans, MOVEOUT, came to our nation's capital to stand up against the communist-led anti-war demonstration that day. They were doing for those serving now what wasn't done for them when they served in Vietnam.

Here is a message I received tonight about Joel's condition: His wife and a couple of bro's made it to him and apparently he was conscious for awhile and gave Marla's hand a squeeze. Docs say tonight is going to be an extremely rough and decisive one. Trying to get as many folks praying for him as we can.

I've been saying prayers since I heard about Joel's accident this morning.

Tonight when I got home from work I looked through my photos and found this one from January 18, 2003. Joel Kernodle and Kristinn were put in contact with one another through Doctor Raoul's hard work, IIRC. Joel drove from Indiana to speak at The Patriots Rally for America III, and to later stand up against the CANSWER commies at the Marine Barracks, in support of our president and our military.

This photo seemed to fit this thread. Joel has a Guardian Angel behind his right shoulder (and Trueblackman at his left).

Keep fighting the fight, Joel. Everybody is sending up prayers for your winning this battle.

%$#@@ MOTORCYCLES!! Lost my 25 year-old son-in-law in '90 to a stupid motorcycle accident -- NOT his fault, but he, not the truck driver, died after 5 TERRIBLE days in the ICU.

You can't appreciate real horror until you sit with your arm around your sobbing daughter's shoulders while a neurologist tells her it's time to pull the plug.

Hope Joel pulls through. And hope he retires the bike.
