California - that explains it. These female fools are probably after Gary Condit, too. Condidit and Peterson are both from Modesto. Sheeeeesh.

I wonder how many marriage proposals Heidi Fliess got while in prison? Some how I doubt it is as much as Peterson. There seems to be a big government grant in there for someone to study the situation. Forget I said that!!!! Where is that damn guy with the questionmarks on his suit when you need him.

Now how did I know this was going to happen?

These women need serious help. Not that Scott's the first man of his ilk to get marriage proposals. Serial killer Ted Bundy, gay serial killer/cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer had many "girlfriends."

This sort of thing happened with Ramirez (the night stalker). I am baffled by women who do this.

and meanwhile on similar news, O.J. Simpson is to be secretly wed in a private ceremony according to several re-lie-able sources...
When contacted for confirmation he smirked and said "well being a celebrity really helps and I figured using the media to get more exposure really had me getting the pick of the crop".

I told my wife this morning that I figured the ladies would swarm over him after his conviction . I stand corrected !

Considering the way TV is going this days - this could be a blockbuster reality TV show: 50 women vy for the affection of a wife and baby killer.
On a serious note, may there be justice for Laci and Connor.

So....I can end my current dry spell simply by murdering a pregnant woman?

Well, this *is* from that font of accuracy -- Star Magazine. Now I admit that the NYT recently hasn't been up to even Star's standards for accuracy and veracity, but that isn't a terribly high threshold.
It does answer one question, though. I have suddenly realized who is watching Fox News Channel now that they have gone "All Laci, All the Time."

Looks like the Star picked up Peterson's defense lawyer's press release.

"Inmates look down on men accused of killing women and children," says Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department spokesman Kelly Huston. "We don't want some three-striker with nothing to lose trying to harm Scott while he is awaiting trial."There is honor among thieves. They don't want to believe they're the worst kind of people in the world (and they're not) so they look down on someone else (someone who deserves it). It's not a bad thing, though it might sound that way the way I describe it (we've been trained by politically correct psychology types that looking down on anyone is a bad thing). The foundation of morality is based in part on the idea that some acts are worse than others.
