Anyone who pays the outrageous prices to attend functions at one of these stadiums deserves to be fleeced of the rest of their money. I don't know about Fenway but most of these stadiums are built with taxpayer's money then turned over to a private enterprise for the purpose of getting all of the money they can. Anyone who supports them deserves to pay for that support.
At a local "Earth Day Festival" held in a public park no one was allowed to bring in anything including water. Seems that the rip off artists were selling water for three dollars a bottle (16oz). Many people passed out from dehydration. The Fire Department had to treat a large number. They advised drinking more water. I don't like to see people mistreated but none of them had to go to this event and all should have left when it was apparent that their health was a poor second to making money.

I have a real-life situation that applies to this kind of theme: Near where I work, there's a market one can shop at. They have a sign up that says, "For your comfort and safety, this facility is monitored by video cameras".
For my "safety" I can understand, but my "COMFORT"??? LOL
I guess policies like this are merely a testiment to how much of a "sheeple" nation we have become; people will believe anything someone in authority says to them.

Restaurants and bars install ATM machines on their premises, also ``for your convenience.'' Don't believe them: The machines are there because they get a big cut of the fees each customer pays. You have to pay to use the ATMs?
