When Bill Clinton said "Deny, deny, deny," he didn't realize the import of saying it three times.

Since the publisher allegedly didn't get the manuscript until relatively recently, I wonder if they've been able to do enough editing to make sure the three thirds are internally consistent. You make a great observation. However, I suspect that the reason the publisher allegedly did not get the manuscript until this late date is for that very reason. Hillary had to make sure each of the thirds were consistent before she dare release it to the publisher. Also keep in mind that Hillary's "memories" are time-sensitive to the present. She may have had to edit up to the last minute, based on what she said in some speech 2 weeks ago.
A final cynical, but understandable explanation of Hillary's out of character attribution to ghost writers, co-writers, collaborators or whatever. When inconsistencies show up, she can blame them. She was too busy being the best Senator she could be.

"Clinton, who is scheduled to receive an $8 million advance for the book, thanks author Maryanne Vollers, former Clinton speechwriter Lissa Muscatine and writer Ruby Shamir, sources reveal."
I wonder if these three literary muses helped the ever truant Chelsea with her fabulous Stanford thesis.

Here's a picture of her ghost writer. Look carefully. She's in the picture. That was very scary.

I don't think the book was ignored. I think it has been in the works for some time, but I think she waited for the outcome of the war to finish that chapter. At least ... that's Rush's best guess, and I tend to agree with him. She wanted to be able to say "she supported the President on the war" (which she did); while she had all the rest of her minions out there bashing the war and Bush.

I sang that song as a solo in high school. Part of a cowboy song medley. Still remember the words.

Since the ghost-writers have to work without established shifts in order to meet the deadline, we can assume that they, like the Clintons, are shiftless.

I think Jim McDougal wrote a chapter or two.
Susan wasn't allowed to ghost-write, though, for reasons known only to Hildabeast (snicker, snicker).

Her ghostwriters better have gotten paid up front because if they didn't, they will probably get stiffed. Wonder what she paid them to write her lies and half-truths, not to mention spin?

Hillary probably wrote (or borrowed) the first few opening sentences and the last few sentences. Everything else in between was done by somebody else. In other, she didn't even write the book. Heck, I could be a hell of an author if I had three people writing books with me.

It's a new kind of book. Three different versions of each event and the reader can pick the one he/she wants to believe.ROFLOL!!!! My kid's had some books where you picked what was going to happen in the next chapter as you went through the book! There were several different endings to the story based on what you chose in the chapters!

With 3 writers who are not Hillary, it is more accurate to label this book a BIOGRAPHY, not an auto-biography. However, with all the spin that will undoubtedly be in it, it will have to be labeled a novel.
