After the Indy 500 race, catch all the action in a 400 lapper from Lowe's Motor Speedway.
God Bless our Armed Forces members and families.
Never Forget those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and this nation and its allies.

Moderate and steady. Not a blowing thunderstorm, but no light spitz either. This will shut 'em down for a while.

Yea, looks like the
WU radar has yellow (no more red) almost right on top of the track.

DARN I now hate it when you're right!!!

Man---you called it! 10 minutes ON THE NOSE! :-))
To: TechJunkYard
Yup, you can see drops at the track thru the lights.
I'll have to nurse my beer a little longer, I reckun.

Radar shows a thin (very thin) band, and might not last long.....but I'm going to defer to our expeeeert from here on out. He's the king.... :-))
The rain has stopped here, but I'm just north of I-85 and the bulk of it is south of 85... so it might be only a brief shower up there, or it might get a bit rammy.

I'm toast. I only have Labonte and Nemechek still driving, and I haven't heard of Joe in 200 laps. My team might as well head for the trailer.

LAST?????? Awwww, thems' the worst four letters in the alphabet. You could probably skedaddle down to the corner and be back by the time for green. Its going to take them AT LEAST 30 minutes to get the track back. Probably more like 45-60 minutes. Heck, this might be the same thing as the Daytona 255---uh, the Coca-Cola World 368.

GM's new motto:
Lose on Sunday (12th at Indy), empty on Monday.
>>>>yah... pace, er, vehicle. wild, huh? chevy ssr

Judging from the lack of falling rain and the crowd's just-let-loose-yell, I'd say the jet dryers have just entered the track.

Race is over!
PRN says NASCAR has called the race, Kenseth wins, there's more rain on the way, and they want the fans to be safe.
Sounds like that's all, folks.

Race over! :-((
To: budman_2001; All
The race is Official.. They aren't gonna wait and work for up to 3 hours to get track back in shape.
Jimmy Johnson wins another one, 2 in a row!
