Because of his strong right-hand {motorcycle} grip, Duval has to "lay the club off" at the top and make an inefficient shoulder move in order to reroute the club on the downswing. Plus, as previously stated, he pulls his head off of every shot - even chip shots! It was only a matter of time 'til the wheels fell off.

Swing isn't everything. My grandfather's swing looked like an epileptic with parkinsons, but he drove that ball laser straight. Of course he learned back before the computers and video analysis, just kept tweaking his swing until the ball did what he wanted to damn the form. Hell, Arnie had the ugliest swing you ever saw, but it worked ok for him.

His insistance is that exemptions only go to players with a chance of winning. The performance of the exemptions in the tournament, regardless of their background, shows he's wrong.

She has a Mickey Mouse swing and pulls her head out of every shot. And your point is??????
Jim Fuyrk has the ugliest swing in history -- nice circle at the top Jim -- and he is consistently one of the best players on tour, year in and year out.
Sam Snead had his left foot moved so far in it was comical, and yet he hit the ball straighter than any golfer ever.
Arnold Palmer - where do I begin to disect the awfulness of the swing of arguably the greatest golfer ever.
Lee Trevino - he was aimed so far left on every shot it was a wonder that they landed in the middle of the fairway every single time.
Not every player has the pure peotry of Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan - get over it.

I followed Trevino around last year on the seniors tour when it was here in OKC. That was fun. He is a riot.... with an interesting swing.

Will no doubt regain his card this year."
There's the reason Kuehne didn't get an invite.

Yeah whatever. Jesus. Those two never run out of gas - I guess it's the ample personal supply that they carry on board... ;-)
To: Cedric
Yeah whatever.
In case you haven't figured it out Cedric I don't believe a word you say about anything. Because of your exceedingly childish behavior and insisting you have an adult son who's all buddy buddy with 15 unnamed tour pros I simply cannot believe a word you say. If you told it would be hot tomorrow I'd bring a jacket.

I wish you hadn't said that. The idea of agreeing with you about anything makes me ill.

I do think her score goes up dramatically when she gets to longer courses.

Cedric and presidio9 were officiating as the know-it-none tag team on Annika threads earlier in the week.
pi9 continues to carry the day on this thread, where he has Tiger Woods breaking 60 every other time he goes out on an LPGA tour track (I'm being kind - pi9 actually fantasized that Woods would shoot 4 consecutive rounds in the 50s...)

I had the extreme pleasure of following Trevino, Bob Murphy and Gary McCord around Greystone at the Bruno's classic 3-4 years ago. Talk about a laugh a minute. It was a wonder those three ever got a shot in between the talking and jabbing at each other.

I spoke to my son, the pro, last night about the Annika issue, he said, "Dad a thousand guys could dink the ball 250 down the middle, take the fat part of the green and two putt for par. But, what's the point no one's gonna "cash" {win prize money} that way." An excellent point, don't you think? {Actually, no, you don't.}
BTW just 'cause I've been beating your ass like a drum for 3 days there's no valid excuse for denegrating my son.

Okay, for those of us without a TV, where does this put her, about +5 and ranked about 90?

Damn, but that was just a precious quote on the coverage; "She just ran out of fuel." More like, "She never quite had enough distance"
Par.

Man, these announcers are just dying to say that she's ready for the PGA. That she can do it. Talk about spin...
walking around it... wipes the club... linning up 4 footer... makes par.
