Canadas Homosexual Totalitarianism Hints At Future Here
Date: Thursday, May 22 @ 20:41:49 CDT
Topic: Religious Freedom
Summary: Religious freedom and speech are under attack by a homosexual legislator in Canada. What is happening in Canada is a glimpse into our future here in the U.S. if homosexuals are successful in passing hate crime laws.
Freedom of speech and religion are under assault in Canadathanks to the work of homosexual Member of Parliament Svend Robinson. This homosexual activist has introduced Bill C-415 that adds sexual orientation to a criminal law that bans the promotion of hatred and violence against an identifiable group. This includes a ban on the public encitement of hatred against these groups.
Christians and other faith groups in Canada are opposing this legislation because it would effectively criminalize preaching against homosexuality from the Bible as hate speech.
Bruce Clemenger, director of the Centre for Faith and Public Life (part of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada) has urged Canadians to rally against C-415. As he writes on the CanadianChristianity.com web site: Its important that we ensure that the Holy Bible is not labeled hate literature, and that our right to publicly express our deeply-held religious views is not undermined. It is also vital we respond to this bill in the spirit of Christ.
For Clemengers complete commentary, click here: The Bible: criminalized as hate literature?

But otherwise promoting hatred and violence is legal? The real mischief is equating disapproval with hatred and violence.

This article is a perfect example of what I was telling you about the other day when we were discussing the neo-Nazi idiot who got busted by the FBI.

Polycarp--
In the right hands, the "homo issue" could also become Dubya's "Willie Horton," but given the pubbies' timidity and Dubya's "new tone," I'm not gonna hold my breath.

There's not really an opportunity for Dubya until there's some pro-gay legislation proposed at the federal level.

But wait, what about the 'identifiable group' part of the law? I thought homosexuals blended into the population since they were 10% of it, and we couldn't pick them out by their lisp or dyke cut, since they were 'everywhere?'
Either they ARE correct that they AREN'T an identifiable group, and they can't fall under this legislation, or they AREN'T correct, they ARE an identifiable group, and thus they are a pack of flaming weirdos.
If this passes, Canadians should ask homosexuals to come up with ways to identify themselves so that straight Canadians know not to promote hatred and violence toward those poor minority gay types--preferably something NOT like the punchline to the old 'how do you know your roomate's gay?' joke.

Prosecute the body, murder evidence, that is the new totalitarianism, and it is not limited to homosexuals, though they are an interesting case of love deception.

You never heard of Bend over Svend? Ivan were you been?
Bill C-250 was nearly killed in committee on May 15, when several Liberal members of the committee failed to show up for the vote and were replaced with Liberal MPs with blatantly homophobic credentials.
This appears to be a deliberate manoeuver by the Minister of Justice, Martin Cauchon, to pull a fast one and kill the bill in committee so that his government can avoid facing the ire of Christian fundamentalists.
The only thing that saved C-250 was Svend Robinson's filibuster that prevented the vote from taking place. The committee will meet again to vote on the bill on May 27. Bill C-250 is in the process of being examined by the Justice Committee. It needs to survive this committee to get to the floor of the House of Commons to be voted on. The four Canadian Alliance members of the committee are solidly against, the four other opposition MPs are solidly in favour, and the Liberals are a wildcard. The Liberals
control the committee, and they are right now being inundated by letters and calls against the bill.
