Yeah, I don't get some of the guys here. I understand that they aren't amused by the circus atmosphere, and don't feel women are in the same league as men. And I agree for the most part. However, *this* woman is holding her own, and I don't care what anyone says about "Oh well 2 strokes off the lead is an eternity in the pro's." The fact is, this woman, on this day, is definitely holding her own in the upper part of the pack. She may finish in the middle of the pack. But the point is, that she is holding her own, because she is most likely going to be ahead of quite a few men, all of them elite pros.
And she's yet to go over par on any hole.

(They say anti-Catholicism is the thinking man's anti-Semitism; that's an insult to thinking men)

The best female player in the history of golf finishes in the middle of the pack in a dull PGA tour event that is minus the best male players and on a course tailor-made for her talents under ideal weather conditions. Wow, I'm like so impressed.

Yeah, I don't get some of the guys hereMe neither....If she's teeing up from the same spots and playing by the same rules, more power to her.

And she's barely missed several makeable birdie putts; if her putting game had been "on" today, she might be leading this thing.

Some people tie their egos to external things. It's the same things that happens when you say some movie sucks and somebody gets all whacky, for whatever reason they've tied their sense of self to it and when you don't like it that insults them. The only guys who's egos should be tied to this are the 140-odd playing, everybody else needs to go back to spectator land and just watch.
