I agree, doesn't make any sense. If terrorism, it's homegrown. It could be an accident or it could be a letter bomb intended for a certain professor or administrator.

The one caveat here is that one of president Bush's daughters attends Yale. It could also have been addressed to her if indeed it was a letter bomb.

It's the lefties that muslims hate.

They don't particularly mind Christian socialism. It's Fourier and Fabian socialism that gets their goat.

Remember how shocked Israel was when Arab students started blowing up their own colleges? It's our turn now.

Are they trying to recruit more Republicans? This will have an impact on how Yale "students" and "instructors" view the war on terror, I'm sure.

This is an obscure place for an explosion.

That's right - the obvious causes have even yet to be ruled out: boiler, gas, etc ...

If this is Al Quaeda's doing, I don't understand why they would target Yale--it's a bastion of anti-war lefty Bush-haters.

So was New York City.

This is an obscure place for an explosion. Did the terrorists get the address wrong?

Maybe it was in the *outbound* mail.

GASP.......you have a point, but I really hope you're wrong......

But NYC wasn't targeted - the World Trade Center towers were for a specific reason - capitalism.

This can't be AQ. Don't they know that school is out?

I'm pretty sure it was NOT terror. As in, nothing to see here folks. Let's move along now. Just another isolated incident. Just like the plane crash in Queens and the oil terminal fire on Staten Island.

Need more info.

I go to Connecticut College in New London, CT (Bush spoke at the Coast Guard Academy across the street.)

I am currently not there as its summer vacation.
