Say Goodbye to a Real Hero

Posted on 05/20/2003 8:29:16 PM PDT by Keyga8tor

I received word today that my cousin was killed in an aircraft accident in Iraq. A Marine Captain, he was a helicopter pilot and a wonderful man. I last saw him in Kuwait as I waited to board a helo to return to my ship. God Bless Andrew and his family and, God Bless America!

May God welcome him home and may He comfort you and your family. There is no way in the world to thank these good men for their sacrifice, but we mourn their loss.

To All,
From a lurker since 1997, thank you all for your support to all of us in the military. I spent the day with his family, and his memorial service is on Friday at Camp Pendelton. Thank you all for your prayers and your support. Eagles Up!

So sorry. Please accept condolences. Please accept thanks, and pass any along to the rest of the family.

Your loss is our loss, and the price of freedom just went up by exactly one American.
