Up until a few years ago, UCSC hid the business courses in the math department as to not to appear to "sell out". If I were a white student graduating, I'd feel left out. What a shame that one of the prettiest campuses in the country is populated by people who, in the name of inclusion, exclude so many.

Its interesting to note the graduation speakers:

Angela Davis- avowed communist
John Laird-- avowed socialist
Sam Farr- democratic socialist
Nane Alejandrez- Barrios Unidos runs a school of "social justice"

where is the balance?

I wonder if O'Reilly will demand that Grey Davis come on his show and defend this?

The Balkanization of California continues....

Another word for it is "tribalization" - so much for diversity, and "one nation." And let's not forget the oldy, but goody, "melting pot."

Notice in their "principles of community", not a word is said about scholarly excellence? Or is it because you can't have a community of scholars anymore?

UCSC is basically a degree conferring hippie commune. The leftists liked the idea of hippie communes, but needed the CA taxpayer to fund it, as a commune can't exist on its own.

There is a reason that the campus has the lowest academic ranking in the UC system.
Even in the late '90s the majority of graduates were unemployed a year after graduation.

Pretty expensive daycare that too often resembles psychological abuse.

Those prejudiced SOB's. What about hermaphrodites and people who want to be a sex that doesn't exist in this dimension? I suppose they're not good enough for them.
