Don Imus asked Auletta what he thought of Dan Rather's pathetic interview with Saddam and Auletta defended Rather bigtime. If there are any media types out there who will be interviewing Ken Auletta, PLEASE ask him what he thinks about Peter Collins' allegations that Peter Jennings forced him to change his news story from Nicaragua so as to be favorable to the Sandinistas. Also I would be curous as to what Auletta thinks about Jennings' very obvious leftwing bias. Methinks Auletta would deny that Jennings has any such bias. You see in AulettaWorld only Fox News is biased. ABC, CBS, CNN, and the rest are balanced....at least in Auletta's little Fantasyland.

From the far left, everything else looks right.
What would anyone expect. Let's ask Castro what he thinks.

Auletta looks through rose-tinted glasses for sure.

But, because Fox viewers are more intense, they watch seventy percent more cable news than CNN viewers do. This intensity of viewing on Fox helps account for its ratings success, since length of viewing and not just total number of viewers is counted by the Nielsen ratings service.
Oh.... This is hilarious! They are trying to explain away Fox News Channel's ratings success as a small group of fanatics who watch FNC around the clock, like they are a bunch of losers who have nothing better to do than sit and watch FNC all day. Pretty typical of liberals!

I just now posted a blatant example of CNN FABRICATING a story as a result of their leftist bias on this
THREAD. But do you think Ken Auletta will criticize CNN. Not a chance! He considers CNN (and the other leftist networks "balanced" even though I just now posted a CLEAR EXAMPLE of FRAUDULENT story fabrication by CNN.

they're people who express opinions throughout the newscast, be it 'axis of weasels' to describe France but never describing what France's position was Remarkable. Has any network, cable or broadcast, ever described the positions of conservative public figures? Because let' face it, that's all we need. If the public were given an honest accounting of the policy debates between Left and Right, even more people would migrate to the conservative position. Instead, we get nothing. He's concerned about a Fox anchor referring to the "Axis of Weasels"? Where was he when major networks referred to the "Taliban wing" of the GOP, or the "right wing fanatics" of Waco and Montana? How about the airing of pickets referring to conservatives as fascists and Nazis without a single word refuting the charge or even itemizing the conservative position? F*** him.

I just now posted a CLEAR EXAMPLE of FRAUDULENT story fabrication by CNN.Did you catch Wayne LaPierre from the NRA BLAST them on their own air the other day for this story? He was quite animated in his response, you would love it.

The Left's refusal to admit the bias is like when little kids retort, "I know you are, but what am I?"

"If you look at the commentators, the commentators tend to be stacked to the right. That is to say, you have many more conservative commentators than liberal commentators." And there is balance on say, ABC's sunday show with Geo. Steponallofus?

Fox is always more than fair with allowing opposing viewpoints an their programs, Does Dan Blather do this? I think not. I also notice that hannity, Rush and other conservative talk show hosts frequently describe themselves and conservative talk show hosts, Why doesn't Dan call himself "Liberal News Hasbeen" (with bad hair I might add)

As much as I agree with the urge to slam liberals who see Fox as biased and ABCNBCCBSCNN as "objective" journalism, I can't help but be elated at that fact that the decades old monopoly on TV news is crumbling.
It wasn't that long ago that there were no voices right of center. But now the MOMENTUM has clearly SHIFTED. The pendulum is swinging back with a vengence. The libs are SHOCKED and AWED that we have smashed open the doors of their private club.

You see it isn't a conscious bias, I mean they don't really know they are slanting to the right. It would be different were it deliberate, but of course, it isn't you know.

Oh, I don't know. I have FOX on 24/7 even when I'm at work. I don't want the dog to have to listen to a bunch of liberal tripe while I'm away earning the money to buy his dog food.

All Press is Good Press! This is great! It spells out FNC's target viewers. Waiting for FNC all these years while having to put up with CNN's "TARGETED VIEWS" was making us all fall asleep and shoot our TV sets. This is telling us all where to tune in to get back in the swing of things!
As Sidney said, "Kinda Cool"......:-)
Who said bias was a one way street?? When ABCCBSNBCCNNCSPANCSPAN2NPRETC not only admit their leanings and bias, but actually advertise their bias to gain new viewers then finally the BS might stop and real information will flow! Viewers will finally have an admitted perspective of which bias they are tuned in to.
But don't hold your breath waitin' on this fairy tale.
